Amazing! A real new gem! Food is stunning, the bacon is just the most incredible thing. Melt in the mouth,and so tasty. Even the avocado was very tasty, and I usually think it's tasteless gunk. How busy it was throughout our stay is a testament to how good this place is. The staff are also wonderful
One of the nicest brunches I've had in years! Thoroughly enjoyed the halloumi & avocado sourdough, plus the porky beans special. Coffees and apple juice were excellent.
Perfect - 5 star coffee! Lovely service. Air conditioning inside, tables outside. Card payment accepted. Didn't have time to try the food but it all looked beautiful and fresh. Thanks very much
Had absolutely lovely food and drinks at the Penarth Ground Bakery today. Booked a table and was lucky to get an outdoor one. Service was great, waitress was really nice and super chatty. 10/10 would recommend.
First visit to Ground in Penarth and it could be my new favourite breakfast spot.
The 'bacon' with mushrooms and perfectly poached eggs on Sourdough was delicious.

Great little coffee shop. Huge choice of cakes to satisfy even the most demanding. Great tasting coffee as well. Found all the staff friendly.
Expensive artisinal bread, which is nice if you like that kind of thing. Coffee is good. It's a little more than just a bakery, you can sit in and eat. The quality of food is very good, and what we experienced was very nice indeed. Provides a pleasant interlude to a busy day's gossiping.
Stunning place with awesome owners made to feel like family. Dog friendly too. Ticks every box

A welcome addition to the coffee shops in Penarth! Bright and airy, indoor & outdoor (street) seating and absolutely delicious pastries, food and coffee! They also have a good selection of freshly baked bread and savoury bites if "sweets" aren't your thing.
