Love this place!! Amazing service and food. All the waiters are friendly and have great customer service. Food is excellent and service is quick. Decor is lovely in the restaurant and it is very clean. Would highly recommend!!

Excellent service, good food...there were 16 of us on 2 tables of 8 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

A very nice restaurant. Food was very good, although did need to ask for the beef go be cooked well done for a Sunday dinner. Prices a little expensive but will be back again.
Coming out from Penarth, on the road found very nice restaurant :) very clean, looking lovely. No booking for Thursday night wasn’t a problem. Fresh ingredients and ideal dinner on the way.
Great selection midweek. Reasonably priced. Kebabs better than botanist. 5 star service and good selection of deserts. Easy to park.
Fantastic food, chill atmosphere, attentive staff and this has to be the best gluten free menu I've seen in South Wales. As someone who can often be stressed about gluten when eating out, to have a separate menu and the fact the food was gluten free confirmed at every step really put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my meal.
My first visit to this restaurant. It was 'steak night' so not being a rebel, I had a sirloin steak. It was tender and cooked to perfection. The triple cooked chips were superb as was the peppercorn sauce. Overall pretty good value and we will definitely return. In fact we're eyeing up the Sunday roast menu so probably quite soon.
Food was gorgeous first time at this restaurant and will definitely be back. I took one star off the service as staff were lovely and friendly but it was slow we were sat down for a long time before our order was taken and it took ages for food to come and once finished for them to take away and ask if we wanted dessert and for the bill. But I feel bad for saying that as it was a small thing. Decor is lovely .
Sunday roast lunch - busy busy busy but food was tasty warm and plentiful. Matt (waiter) was superb and is a credit to the team. Downsides, carpark was jammed - perhaps alternatives might be worth knowing. Men’s cubicles were either out of action or couldn’t be locked. Overall - it’s a definite. Good for birthdays, special events and family lunches.
This place is stunning . Set in a beautiful area . Very scenic views to cosmeston lakes . Perfect for the bird watching ppl . The food was amazing . Tuesday's is steak night so went for the 280g (about 10oz ) ribeye steak. Was cooked perfectly . The menu is extensive for those who wish to treat their pallet to Mediterranean cuisine. Another visit on Sunday 21st May 2023 where we had the pan fried Sea bass fillets with chorizo , baby potatoes and rocket salad. Absolutely delicious. Put it on your to do list 👍
Not been here since the early 80s but boy was well worth the wait. Food was so gorgeous and service was inviting and very friendly. Next time I visit the area I will come again.
Visited Ego after friends had said they had a great experience and was not disappointed. Although busy we were seated and had our drinks order taken quickly. There was alot to choose from on the menu as well as a special menu, everything was reasonably priced. Food didn't take too long even though it was busy and looked as good as it tasted, it looked amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Started off the evening arriving early with our two labradors, staff were incredibly accomodating and we were well looked after!
The food was incredible, nice starter, great Sunday dinner (lamb) with some good sized Yorkshire puddings.
The desert stole the show. Easily the best creme brulé I've ever experienced, thick and creamy and bursting with vanilla, with a satisfying crunch from the caramelised sugar. 100/10
Paid a visit on a Friday evening. Had 2 cocktails for £12 due to having a singer (who was really good!) I had Paella Mixta, which had lovely flavour and full of shellfish, chorizo and chicken. Cocktails were good and finished with chocolate brownie and ice cream. Lovely venue with plenty of parking.
Brilliant. All round brilliant. Waitress was great and really ensured my gluten free need was covered. Even made sure of no cross contamination!
Table was lovely and the food was epic. And non alcoholic cider which I have been searching for. Great times, good vibes. 👍
What a delightful restaurant and on our doorstep. Not been there before but booked with little issues on their website at short notice and on a Sunday. Sat on the terrace was a delight on such a sunny day. Serve was brilliant and they went over and beyond. Dined with a friend with too many food allergies to count. They went out to try and purchase salad to accommodate her. Food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended a visit
Visited for a birthday meal and I am really impressed.
Staff are really friendly and accommodating, there was also a good number of staff too which meant ser ice was really good.
Menu is very good with a decent selection and enough choice for most guests.
There is only 3 draft beers, 1 being Carling so that leaves 2 actually decent drafts being Estrella and Amstel.
Really good selection of cocktails too.
