Been there over 15 times now for a meal. Every time the service has been excellent and the food has been amazing. The fish & chips is my favourite meal but I have tried several others. The chicken curry, the Lasagne Verde and the breakfast were also very nice. The creams teas in the summer were also really good. Plenty of hot drinks, cold drinks and a few alcoholic drinks to choose from.
They also do sandwiches, baguettes, Panini's, cakes, deserts and jacket potatoes. They also have a selection of Vegetarian meals.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Me and my friends came here to revise before an exam, the atmosphere here was simply calm and the outside seating area, under the shelter was a different vibe to sit down and get to work. The Cappuccino was absolutely lovely and made really well, with just the right amount of foaminess. The Black Coffee was refreshing. The waitress was incredibly nice to us, and chatted to us about our revision and wished us good luck. Overall a great experience and we smashed the test that's to it.
Overall the experience was fab! Food was lush and the outside table we sat at was lovely!
Only downside was we had to go inside a couple times to get the servers attention to be told we would be seen to soon. Perhaps it was busier for the staff than expected that day.
Nice tea shop with good menu options and good portions at good prices. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We popped in for breakfast on a Saturday, the staff were very friendly and the food was great. The breakfast came with a coffee and orange juice included in the price which was very good! Will definitely visit again if we are in need of breakfast in Penarth ☺️

My friend and I visited here for lunch. What an adorable & quaint place, we loved it! The staff were the most friendliest, welcoming and accommodating people (a credit to the management team). The restaurant was immaculate and had a homely atmosphere. We sat in their lovely outdoor seating area and blankets were provided on the back of the chairs for customers which was a very thoughtful touch. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty and excellent value for money. I can’t recommend this place more highly and will definitely be returning soon and am looking forward to doing so. Such a super place! 10/10
