The food here is delicious and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Had the prawn goan vindaloo- nice dish -
Spicy with an amazing sauce- just disappointed by the number of prawns in the dish- 6.
The Naan bread was nice- cut uk into
5 slices and could be shared.
Desert of carrot was too sweet, it has a layer of oil at the bottom of the dish- as to be expected for Indian deserts.
The mango margarita was a classic and not made with crushed ice.
Service was ok- busy which could do with more staff.
I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Very good atmosphere and service to have a meal with family and friends. Staff were so welcoming, I wont hesitate to go back again for a meal.

I can't praise this restaurant enough. Simply some of the best food we've eaten, right from the starters. Even the pickle tray was special. The service was impeccable, the surroundings nice, I just wish we lived closer. Penarth is very lucky to have such a great restaurant.

Our foursome had an exquisite lunch here while wandering through the village. We had tAken the water taxi from Cardiff castle, took in the beautiful st Augustine church on the hill then wound our way into Pernath. Mint and Mustard's display menu was more than traditional Indian so we entered. It was an off season Sunday so we enjoyed the attention of the host straight away. The curries, Bhudda bowls, masala, tea, cocktails, and okra fries were amazing!!!! I wanted to bottle up every sauce and take it home. Out of this world!!!!!!

We had Naan, steamed rice, Allepey fish curry, Lola's chicken curry and a few drinks.
Everything was so good and the ambience was super cool and cosy.
I would say it's an ideal spot for family dining as well as hanging out spot with friends.
Must say that the Manager was so warm and welcoming.

Went to the Mint& Mustard today for my mother's day treat from my lovely daughter. Lovely friendly atmosphere, first class service with a smile. Catered really well for our vegan requests offering to change all the veg options to vegan for us. Couldn't fault the food. It was delicious, well presented, generous portions and not a big waiting time.
Another awsome experience here. This is our third time our family booked a meal for a birthday, this time round for eighteen of us! Food is absolutely outstanding, the menu has lovely dishes from specific regions of India. Really authentic delicious food. Staff are so welcoming, attentive and friendly. Love this place, is a firm family favourite!
The food was totally delicious. Great evening for 18 yr olds birthday. Spoilt by 3 immature elderly people telling us this was not the place to bring a baby. Never have I encountered such an attitude. Restaurant is 10 out 10. Thank you Mint and Mustard Penarth

Wow, delicious food, absolutely stunning. Keralan cuisine but also lots of dishes from the north of India. Service was spot on and our waiter really took the time to tell us about the dishes and which parts of India our food originated from. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Thanks very much for an excellent meal that far exceeded our expectations. Keep it up! I didn't take any photos I was too busy concentrating on enjoying the food!!

This blew me away. So many levels above a normal curry restaurant. Amazing quality food, unpretentious and unassuming decor - which I love, because they’re not trying to hype themselves. This place is all about authentic cuisine. Generous portions as well. A fantastic surprise and I recommended.
