The Pilot - Penarth - Photo album

We live nearby and have always enjoyed the food here. Today, we brought our 2 1/2 year old for a bit of food, escaping the rain. The children's menu is the best we've experienced in a long while. Three courses, including versions of the main menu at a really good value price. The waiting staff were
Great cosy pub with an excellent view of the city. Good selection of local beer. Fantastic value lunch menu available too. I had roast duck and it was delicious, super crispy skin! The sauce was so tasty we had order extra which was no problem. Can’t wait to take my family.
Lovely place to eat. The food was good. We all had fish and chips lightly battered fish and nice wedge fries. Will definitely go again.
Was nearby looking for place to eat. Surprised to have found this lovely place. Sunday menu on Sundays. Had the hummous to share as a start. There wasn't a price on the menu thought that means free lol (we still got charged in the end tho). Very pleased with the cod, it was lovely. Dessert was very
Nice food but it's overpriced. Good staff, imaginative and tasty starters but most mains are over £20 and don't quite justify the price.
Only had a few pints, but sister pub of the Conway can't be bad. Great location on a sunny day.
The Pilot: Part of the small Knife & Fork group. 3 ales at time of calling. Modern style establishment - french cafe` effect (not really pub style). Staff very welcoming & professional. Lunch simply excellent & very reasonably priced & quality. Toilets clean, modern & well maintained. Definitely wor
Fantastic food in a lovely environment. Staff helpful. Great service. Fabulous views over the bay too.
Best service I’ve received in Penarth. The food is absolutely delicious! Will be returning here for food often!
Fantastic food, service and price. Myself and my wife stopped in after a long walk and were very impressed by the food and service from the team. The lunch time menu is great and will priced. We will defiantly be back.
Excellent visit. Everything was faultless. Wonderful food, service and value. Highly recommended.
Excellent food! Came. For Sunday lunch with friends and the dog (in bar area). Really good!
Gorgeous, well cooked food, lovely atmosphere with outstanding service. My favourite place for lunch.
After walking round the bay and across the barrage, this pub was an ideal spot for lunch. What a treat. Lovely wood burning fire dried us off, welcoming staff, very high quality food with an imaginative menu plus a very good choice of drinks. We will certainly be back to try some of the other food o
Lovely food and lovely staff. Had olives and crisp breads to share for starter and cod bravas for main which was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend
I moved the Penarth during lockdown and this was my first meal in a restaurant after restrictions eased. It. Was. A. Mazing. Perfectly prepared. The staff was very polite and well trained. I’ll be coming back.
Had an amazing Sunday lunch. Roast chicken, with lovely vegetable trimmings. Service was professional.
