This place is the best for FOOD SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE 👌 a very friendly, warm welcome instantly from the lovely merrell (staff). This lady is a true credit to you. She looked after us well. Then, the chef was also just as friendly and was a top cook. The food was perfect. We have been to many places, and this place did not disappoint. Thank you, we will be back. You get what you pay for decent food cooked beautifully.
Food here was fantastic, not your average pub grub. Staff were fab and atmosphere was friendly. We had 3 courses and each course was amazing
We are not local.... we just turned up with the dog and were welcomed into the bar area. Lovely pub food served. There was a pool night happening so it was very busy. Really friendly locals. Great pub

The barlady was wonderful to talk to, gave us some good local knowledge. The food was excellent for the price. Pub is dog friendly and the local drinkers were a laugh. Highly recommend!

I came here with my partner and two children, one of which is only 1 years old, as you imagine the 1 year old, by 6pm was being a bit of a nightmare and very overtired! One member of staff was super attentive and understanding of this, warmed his food up for us, gave crayons and colouring paper. We shall definitely be returning when we're on holiday again 🥰

You wouldn’t know from the outside but lovely local atmosphere, brilliant food, really friendly staff and chef. Highly recommend! Also serving later than most other places in Pembroke! No complaints at all, will definitely be back.
I love this pub. Sitting on the decking at the side of the Mill Pond with a view of Pembroke Castle is so special. The food is stunning and they have a very talented and creative chef. My Halloumi and Pomegranate salad was delicious and the fried chicken was voted one of the best ever tasted by The Husband. Highly recommended ❤️

They squeezed us in last minute. We thought the food was delicious, good value and served with a smile. We thought it was 10/10. Whether sitting overlooking the river, drinking or playing pool / darts we thought it was great. Thank you very much.
Fantastic restaurant and very friendly staff. The four of us had the rib-eye steak, burgers, and sea bass. All cooked to perfection. The view over looking the mill pond and pembroke castle were outstanding. Highly recommend this place

Slow roast belly pork, lamb and beef to perfection. Lovely tasty vegetables cooked precisely. Very hearty portions for a very good price. Raspberry and white chocolate mousse, profiteroles and chocolate fudge cake spot on. Draft Rev James and large Red wines to wash it all down.
Very recommended excellent service from very friendly staff.

Absolutely recommend!! We came here for lunch after a nice trip to the castle. We came here as we had read it was dog friendly when researching near the castle. We were so overwhelmed by how wonderful it was. The welcome as we came in- to us and the dogs (who got given treats and attention which brings them joy). Emma was served us was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Just to top it all off the food was unbelievable! It was all freshly cooked, with great ingredients and just delicious. I must add the onion rings were without doubt the best I’ve ever had!

Brilliant and very tasty food with very large portions. The steak in the pie was extremely tender. Lovey view overlooking the river. Staff very friendly. Would be here every week if we lived locally
