Fantastic pub great atmosphere and fabulous staff. We're a biker group and visit here a couple of times a year usually 10 or 12 of us. Visited today and as usual glad to see us and nothing was too much trouble unlike a lot of places, where everything is a problem. One of our favorite venues we'll definitely be back.👍

What a wonderful little gem. Had a table of 5 booked for fish and chips night. The food surpassed any expectations, the chips were spot on and the fish was great. Great potions and priced really well. Each meal was £11. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and incredibly helpful. They cater for only a handful of people, meaning everything is cooked fresh and you get all the attention you require. Their website needs work, don't let this put you off. The staff and food were exceptional. Will certainly be back. There is parking on the street outside the pub. Proper country pub. Would Highly recommend. They have put a lot of effort into their food.

What a fantastic country pub, Cliff and Abbie are great hosts and the locals are really friendly. Booked for Fish & Chip night and weren't disappointed, all meals cooked to order and were piping hot. Great selection of real ale. We will be back 👍👍❤️❤️

Lovely pub, with friendly barmaid and landlord. Cracking pint or three. Landlord told us the story of the belt on the wall, our two dogs loved it there as well. Hope to go back one day and have a proper sesh.

I was camping at a near-by campsite for New Year's Eve. Called into the Red Lion a few times and ended up spending the evening there to bring in the New Year. It's not often I can say this about village pubs, but this place was the most welcoming pub I've been to in a long time! The staff were lovely, the customers were lovely and the owner was equally as nice. Thoroughly enjoyed the couple of days there and will absolutely be calling in again. Thanks to everyone there for a great New Year's Eve, I'm sure there will have been some sore heads the next day 😀

Such a great place to have a drink and eat. We had a drink earlier in the week and came back on Thursday for steak night. Food was yummie, plenty of it and reasonably priced. A very warm welcome. Will definitely be going back.

The Red Lion is a lovely pub in the heart of Pembridge - renowned for its numerous black & white half-timbered buildings. It does all the things that village pubs should do, with two darts teams - and an air gun team - and the visitor is likely to find groups playing cribbage or dominoes. "Lunch is served Monday to Saturday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. Examples of available dishes are:- Ploughmans, Paninis, Bauguettes, Light Bites, Full meals Jacket potatoes, Desserts. Thursday "Steak Night" has become a legend in the local area - Booking in advance is essential in order to get a table on Thursday evenings. Although called "Steak Night" other dishes with chicken and fish may be booked in advance but at least 24 hours notice is required for those options. Band Nights are a very popular weekend activity and are always well attended. Different groups appear at 4 or 5 weekly intervals and these are publicised both inside the pub and outside on sandwich boards. Names which have become well-known and popular locally include "Bugs Brummie"; The Barebacks and Mark Walby for example. In addition to keeping four "real ales" there is a wide selection of lagers, bottled beers and ciders. Many of the beers are from local breweries and one of the most popular ciders - Robinsons - is brewed in Tenbury Wells. The four available draught beers vary within a small group and their popularity has been determined by demand from the regular clientele of experienced beer drinkers. The Red Lion is extremely popular with visitors to the local award-winning caravan park (Townsend Touring Park), many of whom return for lengthy stays at regular intervals. Indeed, many of the caravaners are now on first name terms with the local village regulars. Equally popular with young and old alike, The Red Lion is a vibrant centre of local entertainment, well managed by its friendly, charming and enthusiastic staff of lovely young ladies. Highly recommend this pub - it is fantastic!
