Had to take cover with heavy rain and we were so pleased we took cover here. Warm and friendly welcome awaited us. I chose roast lamb and I have to say it was the best roast dinner I have ever had in a pub. Onion sauce, lamb, potatoes, veg, all soo tasty. Great portion size. Hubby had jacket potato
Very busy when we went and a lot of the tables were booked.
The portions were smaller than usual which was disappointing ordered the large braised steak. The vegetables were not strained had water on the plate. People passing were bumping the seated people trying to eat making it a little uncomfor

We went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Turned up without a booking and the staff were very accommodating.
The food was very good and generous portions at a reasonable price. Good beer choices too.
Talk about a walk back in time, the home made food was delicious reminded me of my grandma's cooking, big portions too, so no room for a pudding. The decor has to be seen.
Food is beautiful, warning they serve very large portions. Good value for your money
We really enjoyed our food (vegan choices) tonight, even the side salad was nicer than standard side salads. Everything was tasty, and looking at other people’s food, they were all happy too. Very welcoming atmosphere, generous portions, and lovely team of people. Very recommended.
A very pleasant pub grub facility near the popular Peel beachfront. Good range of specials and a bar menu and dining menu available too.
A fantastic steak and kidney pie served with real homemade chips! Very reasonably priced and excellent service!
Update- Just had lunch, unfortunately I have no idea what the rest of the menu is like. I never make it beyond the steak and kidney pie! Still seriously good.
