Prince of indias menu is tasty!
Great food, with good portions + lots of variety. Had a lamb madras and Allo mushrooms and it was really nice. Rice portions are small so recommend 1 a person. Naans were also really great
First time eating here and we were not disappointed.

11 of us had a meal here and we were all pleased with our choices. The tandoori chicken was spicy but not too hot. The shashlick was sizzling and tasty with onions peppers and tomatoes.
Garlic rice was a little greasy but still tasty.
Me and my better half was out and about and decided to stop off in Peebles to have a wee look around.
We decided to get something to eat to save cooking when we got home.
We went in here,, was told that they was fully booked but if you come back around eight o'clock they might have a table,, we returned at eight o'clock to find a beautifully set table for two.
The service we received was second to none and the food was delicious.
I would definitely recommend the Prince of India to anyone.
We will definitely be going to dine there again.

Fantastic improvement. Food was good as was the service but we were the only customers so poor atmosphere.
Great Indian restaurant. Nicely decorated and we received a warm welcome from the staff. They appeared to be a bit understaffed as the service was rather slow but we were not in a hurry so it was not a problem for us. The menu has a great selection of dishes some of which I hadn't seen anywhere else. The food was delicious and everybody in our group enjoyed their meal. Loses a star because of the slow service and the washrooms which although adequate were in need of attention to bring them up to the same standard as the rest of the premises.

No idea why the average is 3.x this place is entirely above average for a curry house. I'd rate it 4.0-4.5, but rating it 5 to bring the average up. Service excellent, cost is on the cheap side, quality of food was great. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
I was working in Scotland and I tend to stay in Peebles where I can. Very nice place.
So I decided to go out to dinner here and I thought the food was really tasty, freshly prepared and the service was excellent.
I'll come again.
