Friendly staff, nice and spaced out between the tables. Nice choice of cakes etc. Nice and cool through the back.

So this review is for the Costa at Peebles. I like Costa because of the consistency of their offer. You know what to expect. Their coffee is probably the best of the chain coffee shops. Peebles was just as I expected - it was open, great coffee and a nice cake. No complaints!
This is just a commercialised coffee place that you cannot complain nice coffee and okay cake.

The staff are friendly, service is quick, & they serve something I've never found before - the coffee cortado, a delicious type of miniature flat white with lots of milk. Delicious.
The atmosphere here feels cozy and friendly - perhaps also because this is a Borders town - with sofas to sit on at the far end of the shop. The fact that Costa opens early and closes later than other coffee shops is definitely a plus as well.

Love the coffee. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. Corona restrictions were in place but there wasn't a stressful atmosphere. I had a lovely relaxing coffee break.
Girls were busy but done well to get people serviced quickly, nice brew and kids enjoyed their food.

Coffee of every hue served here, and it's hot, unlike other places I've been. They also have a big selection of sandwiches and cakes such as tray bake tiffin. A large seating area, well spaced and clean. Free WiFi.
