Good place to work, easy going spoons. Very standard decor, menu and service. Not too busy, not too rowdy, just a decent clean spoons. Giant clean toilets as always.

Perfectly good food at one of the best price points in Peebles. The drink menu, beer and spirits, was phenomenal. Huge number of options and more economical than anywhere else we have found. This was our third visit and we will certainly be back.

The staff were very friendly and the service was good. The menu also good and catered for any diet. I liked the smaller portions menu with the calories calculated for you. I would come back to the Cross Keys.

Visited with my 1yr old son and wife. Ordering on the app was easy and service once order sent was quick for the drinks and wasn’t too long a wait for the food. Food arrived hot and as expected. Free refills on hot drinks is fantastic and the machine makes good coffee. Wasn’t much staff about so had to figure things out ourselves.

A typical Wetherspoons. Exterior a bit dilapidated but interior OK. Service was fine. No sauce provided with holumi burger. Told didn't come with sauce but plainly states on menu that there is sauce. All other Spoons provide sauce. Beer excellent

Always happy to visit the spoons! Good food at reasonable prices and the beer rarely disappoints.

Typical Spoons offering in a nice old building with hotel rooms. Courtyard out front is a sun trap. Lovely for a pint in the sunshine.

Popped in for dinner, service was prompt and very helpful, the meals were great and took notice of allergy requirements.

We called in here for lunch, on looking around they were busy but due to the clever configuration of the different dining spaces it seemed quite when sat at a table. I was seated facing the beer garden area, which looked a lovely place to dine in warmer weather. After ordering our food did not take long to arrive. The food was hot and plentiful and the total bill for a large gammon meal and a chicken melt, with a pint of beer and a soft drink was £16, really good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the place looked clean and inviting. Definitely one to eat at in the future and I am happy to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Peebles any time of day.

Cheap and good rooms for the money. Handy for town centre. Only issue is there is no hotel car park. You have to find street parking or pay to park along the roaf

Excellent stay with quality rooms and service at the bar. A massive shame that this place is shutting down.

One of the best in Scotland for real ale even the awarding breweries are trying to save it. Always a high rated experience with friendly staff. Time Wetherspoons listen to the locals now in profit and take it off the market and save it. Seems crazy to close one of the best rated in Scotland if not the best. I believe the locals can save it before it's too late
