We enjoyed a Cream Tea outside on the terrace. I chose the fruit scone which came with fresh clotted cream and jam, and it was absolutely perfect. Probably the best scone that I enjoyed on our 2 week trip (and we had one nearly every day!). It's worth seeking this place out, which is just off High Street off a small alley sandwiched between two store fronts. You won't regret it!

We stopped off for a quick coffee today, never been before. Hidden little gem of a coffee shop in Peebles. Coffee and tea was great and we will be back for lunch very soon! Staff really nice and friendly too.

We had a lovely lunch in this family tearoom tucked away in a lane. The haggis ciabatta was very nice and my decaf latte was so smooth I wanted a second one. We were full but decided to take some cakes home as they looked very appealing. And I’m glad we did because they were all delicious! The cheese scone is nice and fluffy. The carrot cake is moist and cinnamony as proper carrot cake should be, the rocky road slice has chewy marshmallow and crispy bits in it so you get a variation in texture with every bite. The cake pop is simply brilliant and the chocolate brownie is not overly sweet. But our favourite is the jammy flapjack because it has a very pleasant fruity taste! The servers were attentive and you can even do a little bit of shopping in there! Apparently the owner’s daughter is a young artist who specializes in leatherwork and she has produced some fabulous little pieces that would be ideal for gifts. I picked up this unique keyring and was told that you can have your name on it too if you ask. The place is pet friendly and you can sit out in the courtyard. Will definitely go back there!

Amazing place! Such a lovely family running this, really welcoming and great service and the food was delicious. Stopped after biking at glentress and both starving so had the delicious home made chilli and a couple of hot drinks. There were beautiful handmade leather keyrings and wallets in the sill behind me. We asked about them and found out it was the daughter of the lady in charge and she had hand made them - amazing work so beautiful. Bought one as a momento of the trip. It's cash only but that's easy as there is a cash machine just across the road less than 2 mins out. Honestly this was such a lovely place, really relaxed but efficient and friendly service with the most delicious food. Wish I wasn't on a ban from butter as the cakes looked so tasty! Will be back as often as we are in the area! Highly recommended if you enjoy delicious home made food at a great price served by super nice people.

Hidden down a close, off a small courtyard, this former bakery is popular with the local people. We enjoyed bacon rolls with our morning coffee. We would return another time with appetite enough for cakes.

Lovely little cafe tucked away behind the high street. Service was friendly and attentive, the cakes looked amazing and the baked potatoes were HUGE. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back.

Nice little old style cafe. Lovely bowl of lentil soup. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cakes and scones looked good, but was too full after lunch to try any.
