Francos - Peebles - Photo album

Popped in on what appeared to be a very busy Saturday night. Even though we did not have a booking, the lovely girl who greeted us managed to find us a seat after speaking to the manager. We ordered a house glass of red wine, a large bottle of moretti, 2 pizzas, and a side of chips, which came to ju
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Whenever I come to Peebles we always come to Franco's, recommend any of the pasta or pizza dishes and the specials are always nice. Service was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Would definitely recommend eating here
Best Pizza we had ever eaten. Always come here every holiday. The pasta we've had at other times and is exceptional. I see other reviews complaining about the owner being rude but he is genuinely such a nice guy and if you book a table over the phone you will have no issues. It's really really busy.
Nice „real“ italian place - Pizza was very good with crisp crust and fresh ingedients. Very friendly server and the owner gave us a table even though we didnt reserve in advance (so I guess thats advisable). pricing was okay (still expensive to compared to continental Europe but didnt seem overpric
Lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere - the black truffle ice cream and the tiramisu desserts were excellent. The owner is genuine and lovely, the waitress was knowledgable and great at recommending dishes for us.
This place is fab! The food was perfectly prepared from the tomatoes and the focaccia to the pasta. The wine menu is a breath of fresh air. The owner or manager (I think?!) and his staff were just so friendly and attentive. The view of the river out the window is a bonus too. If you're down this way
The food was nice, the bar staff were lovely and so helpful but soon as we walked in the owner was sat there and was moaning at the bar staff about us been seated, he then continued to stare at us and continued to moan to the bar staff. A other couple came in which there was no room for and the owne
Random find for us while we're in the area for a few days. Booked ahead as I thought it might be busy, it was. Almost every table was taken. Great service by the staff, lovely food at sensible prices. Next time we're in area we'll be back.
Didn't book was a Friday night and the was busy. Was told to come back in 20 mins. Returned 20 mins later greeted with a walm welcome seated straight away. Great food and wine. Lovely Italian
One of the best restaurants to try authentic Italian food. Very good ambience, welcoming staff, dine with a view and the Italian wine. Finish it with any of their desserts and a coffee.
