From the moment we walked in we felt at home, warmly welcomed in the stylish dining room. Drinks were quickly forthcoming and then we had plenty of time to acclimatise and look over the menu. Three courses for £30 doesn't even begin to describe the delights within, starters were preceded by an amuse bouche of a gazpacho shot which was so creamy and light it must have been whipped. Starters were fresh and exciting, the mains were truly out of this world, desserts to die for, coffee, the whole shebang. The staff are fantastic, attentive and friendly but never in your face, and with an easy going manner that makes you feel like old friends rather than strangers. Janine and I eat out a lot, and as a sixth anniversary treat, tonight was perfect. We'll definitely come back, thank you for having us

Had a wonderful meal here to mark our 20th wedding anniversary. Nothing was too much bother forKaren and her waiting staff and the meal was absolutely amazing; quite the nicest meal out I have had in a while. Many thanks for making our evening so special.

I was in Coltmans Delicatessen & Kitchen for a vanilla and choclate patrissie and a chi late with my Mum and My Mum had a soy Late and a Dark Colcate biscuit and it was lovely we sat outside is well as t was cloudy but still warm and dry. It was a lovely view outside. I stay in North Motherwell 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Coltmans Delicatessens & Kitchen in Peebles. They make brilliant coffee and this was my first time in here and I will be back in here again.

Intimate dining space which made you feel priviledged to be there. Proper cotton napkins, friendly, bubbly staff served fresh bread and butter. I had the roast pumpkin salad which was divine! Superp, chilled, Italian white wine. Even individual towels in the loo! 10/10 would definitely visit again, thank-you!

This place is fabulous. It's easy to miss as it looks like it's a delicatessen that has closed for the evening - the restaurant is through the deli ! But the food is fabulous and the waiters are attentive, but not overly so. Give it a try - you'll be so pleased you did.

Excellent lunch once again from the Deli choice, very tasty. As usual it was busy when we arrived so booking is recommended.

Came for breakfast with friends. Plenty of space, even for a larger party. Had the dirty eggs and they were incredible - everyone enjoyed their meal. Coffee was spot on too. Service was attentive and friendly.

We stopped in here for some lunch after staying at Peebles Hydro. It was quite busy inside, while waiting to get seated someone said if you order at the counter there is seating outside in the garden. Since it was a cracking day we did that. We both had the club sandwiches and the portion size was massive, great value for money and very fresh and tasty. Despite being busy we didn't have to wait to long for the food either. The garden seating outside was lovely, a great selection of tables all with options to have shade or not. It was clear the staff were busy, which is great to see, but had someone else in the restaurant not told us about ordering at the counter and the outside seating we might not have had such a great experience.

Delicious food. A big step up from the standard cafe fare. Large warm sausage roll, various tarts/quiches all with various freshly prepared salads. Was busy which wasn't surprising considering the quality of the food.

There's a nice restaurant room at the back of the café and deli, with good food. There is level wheelchair access down the side of the building (ask at the front door). Very helpful staff accommodating my companion in a wheelchair and brilliantly helpful when he felt ill.

Great spot for a snack and a chat! Had a beautiful and tasty scone with clotted cream and jam (maybe the best in Peebles?). I had an Americano whilst the rest had tea. Seating on the High St. perfect for watching the afternoon flow of humanity. The garden terrace considerably more serene if desired. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food both for dinner and lunch. Sandwiches are big so be mindful if you just want something small for lunch. They also have smaller bites and cakes at the cafe.

Took refuge in this Deli to get out of the rain, what a stroke of good fortune that was ! We had lunch and a Cocktail, the Food was was wonderful ! We shared a Cheese and Meat Charcuterie, wow ! So so good ! The whole experience from the welcome, The service and the product, it was so good we booked a table for dinner the same evening 😀. Superfood salad is phenomenal! The best salad I have had in a long time. Also ordered a chocolate desert but I found the portion very small, considering we laid £7 for what you see in the photo.

It's a definite must when driving through Peebles. Fantastic coffee and food. Friendly and inviting staff. Overlooking Peebles high street you can watch the world go by whilst enjoying a coffee and cake. The bar upstairs is great for your after 5pm drinks.

Well worth a visit if you're in lovely Peebles. It has a fantastic menu with locally-sourced ingredients. Deli at the front of you want to take some of the *massive* sausage rolls home.

The food was really delicious and the staff were great, only reason Marked down the atmosphere was because it was so busy in the deli and the door constantly opened and closed and it was pretty cold.
