What do you know, she saw me coming and gave me a big smile and a warm greeting. Had chai latte and 🍰. Mmm delicious. All laid back, homely feel, cool christian music. Did not feel lost at all. Not one bit.

Delicious food and great service. A bit sad we had to be banished to a shed in the garden because we had a dog. Highly recommend for the food and service!

Such a lovely place for a spot of breakfast, lunch or just a cup of hot or cold coffee. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Feels like they are always pleased to see you.

Had an amazing flat white and lemon drizzle cake. I can't emphasise what good quality coffee they do! Andy & Lucy were wonderful hosts!

Cracking little coffee shop. Had my breakfast here while my car was being serviced. Polite staff, quick service and a very good fried breakfast with a pot of tea for about £8.

First time visiting, and we were made to feel very welcome with our dogs and offered a lovely little summer house to sit in out in their lovely back yard, water, and treats for the dogs and tea and bacon roll for us. 100% recommended

The Meeting Place which was formerly 'Mandy's Discount Store' selling cheap bric-a-brac, is now run and owned by a local couple. Community orientated with a Christian feel to the place, there are connections to local churches and good deeds. The general appearence is clean, uncluttered and the ambience affable. A fine selection, but not extensive selection of teas and coffees available. There is also an as yet, unexploited back garden. Ideas about BBQ's and the like are still thoughts in progress - but more on this later - watch this space. Outside seating will be popular in pleasant weather - drinking coffee, having a light bite while being amused by the confusion of the passing traffic. will while away many a moment. No alchohol, but the bacon butties are to die for. Repeat visits assured.
