A real gem of a find. Next to the Tissington Trail it is easily accessed on foot, by car or on bicycle and the carpark is large. Only bought 2 coffees but what a genuinely nice gent who served us. Pleasantly engaging, took time to converse and with a nice dry sense of humour.
I agree with others, the plum tart with ice cream was special. Add to this the apple and rhubarb tart. We also got helpful route guidance which saved a few miles on the A52.

The first year, We had been riding for around 30 minutes, my legs were tired and I needed rest. I spotted the building in the distance "could it be"? I shouted angrily to myself, yes a cafe.

Great little kiosk, sandwiches, toasties, hot drinks, crisps, chocolate and plum tart. Plum tart is very good wish I had it with hot custard. If your passing I would recommend for refreshments.
Wee kiosk next to car park and disused railway now enjoyed by many cyclists and walkers. The ice cream was great. Please pop by, it is well worthy.

Don’t be fooled, this is not your average snack kiosk. We stumbled across this place a few weeks ago, and whilst it’s true that this bean-to-cup oasis on a gravel trail serves a variety of terrific snacks and drinks (and yes, it’s all true about the plum tart) there is so much more available. Stopped for toasties and hot drinks while cycling the Tissington trail. Excellent service, great value made-to-order toasties with quality ingredients. Ice-cream available too.

Cycling the trail in pouring rain so glad to see this little place open. Owner very friendly. Serves a range of hot/cold drinks plus cakes etc. Can recommend the plum tart.

Great little kiosk next to the cycle trail with a good selection of toasties and sandwiches with vegeterian and vegan options. Friendly service, bike racks, toilets, tables and chairs.
A very nice place for a cup of coffee and something sweet or warm to eat. You can sit down, there are stands for bicycles, there is a toilet and it's all "on the road". I recommend! :)
Really friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to sit and have tea after the cycle up the hill.
