Been here many times before. My guest was having her first ever Wimpy. She loved it. Not badly priced for what we got. We won't need Supper tonight, put it that way.

WIMPY- Home of the 'Bender' frankfurter
Not been to Wimpy for years, and when we saw this one in Peacehaven, I hit the brakes, drove into the car park right outside the front door, and entered in anticipation of a slap up meal from the good old days.
I was not disappointed. The International grill, with the famous circular frankfurter they call The Bender was still on the menu and just how I remembered it.
The quality of the food was perfect, in fact, in spite of the meal consisting of bacon, a burger pattie, frankfurter, fries and an egg, there was not a drop of grease on the plate.
Staff and service was fantastic and very efficient and friendly. We had the good fortune to be served by franchise owner Jane, who looked after us as if we were old friends, and the food was cooked by her husband.
No, it's not a high class restaurant. It's Wimpy! But the best service I have ever had. We will be going back- even though about 15 miles from home, it's worth the trip.
Thank you Jane! See you soon!
Was surprised that the menu was more than just burgers and hotdogs. Pleasantly surprised by the options and the very reasonable prices. The restaurant was small but it didn't feel cramped at all. The staff were really friendly and helpful and tried to do everything they could to make our meal enjoyable. Haven't been to a Wimpy in years but based on this visit we'll definitely be back.
I thought the Burgers were absolutely amazing. The rest of the menu doesn't look particularly great though. Price is slighty expensive, the clientele were dirty and the decor is ancient.
But all in all I'd say it was a positive experience.
Please don't order a once cream, in the summer they come very melted and odd looking.
One of the only Wimpy bars left! Home of the traditional BRITISH hamburger which has sadly all but disappeared from the UK high street.
In a world of instant gratification, Wimpy is in fact freshly cooked to order so sit down and enjoy the wait for a quarter hour or so.
The food is well prepared, tasty and as satisfying as it always has been and tastes exactly as it always used to. Good solid and sound food!
Havn't been here for 30yrs. Thought we drop in an have a spicy bean burger. Brought back some good ol memories. Coffee Americana the only difference from the ol days . C&M.
i have to say the whole experience of going to a wimpy was very enjoyable and nostalgic for me as I haven't been to one in over 20 yrs ( as they have all but disappeared from scotland ) and the food was tasted the same as it did then absolutely amazing , and brought the memories flooding back , the staff were very friendly and helpful , the restaurant atmosphere was very enjoyable
Decor a bit dated, which detracts from the kerb appeal but the staff are friendly and the food is up to the usual great Wimpy standard. Definately go again.
I love the really kitsch 90's vibe, from the menu to the decor to the food itself. Some would say dated, I prefer nostalgic word nostalgic
Friendly staff service and good food.
Nice cosy quiet place, with some parking available too.
As good as Wimpy's get. Nice owners and staff, fast service and of course its all prepared fresh.
