Big thumbs up for our first visit to the Juniper Lea today for lunch. The staff were friendly and service was great. The food was delicious, even the kids food wasn’t your average chicken nuggets and chips. The kids loved their macaroni cheese. Looking forward to going back.

Lovely staff and environment. I had halloumi salad and hubby had burger with black pudding and monteray Jack cheese. Every bit delicious. Great variety on menu and very difficult to choose as fancied so many. Water bowl for pooch too. Highly recommend for meal.

Went for food only on a Sunday around lunch (1300 hours). Didn't book ahead but enough space for 2 adults and a child. The rear of the building was a bit off putting but the front and interior makes up for it. Staff were warm and welcoming and the tables and area was well decorated and clean. Went for some basic starters with Nachos which turned out to be half a main in size but I'm not complaining. Both of us went for a sunday roast open which was on point, the beef was cooked so brilliantly as was the lamb. Our wee one had a cheeseburger and to be honest, I was jealous the burger meat was so tasty. The sides were a bit limited, a lot of beige options for kids but the mash was also excellent. All in all, a really decent meal on a whim, will definitely visit again once the balance recovers but worth a visit if you're wanting something decent and willing to pay a little bit more than mid range pub price.

Lovely cosy place to stay. Room was spacious and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet given the busy road beside it. Dinner was lovely and you could tell it was well made rather than something that was chucked in a microwave like some big chains do. Bit pricey, but you are paying for the quality of a well made meal. The staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast is hidden in the fridge in the bedrooms. Its a nice feeling not to feel rushed at breakfast and you can enjoy cheese, ham, pastries, cereals, porridge and jams. Whatever takes your fancy. There is a fancy name for it that i can never remember let alone spell. Was delicious, however the cheese may have been eaten as a late night snack.( Don't judge!). Check out is easy... You just leave. Nice wee place, would go again.

Myself and my husband have visited the juniperlea for breakfast, lunch and dinner (not on same day 😊) a number of times, and I have to say it is definitely one of our favorite places to eat. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a nice relaxed atmosphere. There is always plenty of choice on the menu which is all very reasonably priced, the food is delicious. We have taken our son with us a few times for breakfast and lunch, and he also loves it, the kids menu is great with lots of choices. Carly and Graham who own The Juniperlea Inn are lovely. Very welcoming, always smiling, and go out their way to make sure you visit is enjoyable. Myself and my husband, stayed the night last January, Carly and Graham went out their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and always had time for a chat.
