Wow, wow, wow, if I could give 6 stars I would. The food, drink, service and atmosphere was brilliant. Myself and a disabled guest were shown to our table and made to feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was amazing, would highly recommend the hotdog. We will absolutely definitely be back again very soon.
After a tour along the cavern, we stopped for some lunch and it really topped the morning off. The food was really tasty, the cakes were yummy, the flat white coffee β was spot on, the vanilla milkshakes were very yummy! And to big for the seven year old, so I got to enjoy 50% of it π€©
I had a steak ale pie and it was absolutely gorgeous, it didn't need anything else with it other than the gravy it came with, there was plenty of meat inside and it just melted in my mouth πΊπ
The views from the cafe are amazing and there are tables outside which would be a dream to sit at in warmer weather. Areas for the kids to play also and ice cream π¨ available β€οΈπ
Really nice staff, fast service and I would 100% recommend trying the menu here.
We'll be back again the next time we are in the area.
Thanks for having us ππβ€οΈ
We had a lovely afternoon here. Eat an amazing meal in their Time Out pod that looks over the countryside. The ribs were delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the caves were amazing. Rob the magician was there and give us a wonderful display of his magical skills - he really was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. Will definitely come again if we're in the area.
Excellent cafe - stunning views, great menu, tasty food and coffee, and the friendliest staff I've ever come across!
Discovered Stump Cross Caverns cafe for the first time when out on a bike ride over Greenhow today.
You don't need to be visiting the caverns to go to the cafe. Cycle racks outside for bikes. Plenty of tables inside and out.
We had breakfast and coffee, but they do lunch, main meals, cakes, and icecream as well which all looked lovely.
There's lots of nice walks you could do from there as well.
We visited the Stump Cross Caves and spent a very exciting and adventurous time underground before having lunch in the Time cafe (and then had a breakfast a few days later).
The service was fantastic, the menu was interesting and bold, the atmosphere was jovial and funky. But the food was absolutely stunning. If youβre looking for a great place to eat healthy and delicious food, visit and eat here.
We tried the pie π₯§, falafels, soup, vegan quesadilla and then on our subsequent visit a large breakfast, small breakfast and vegetarian breakfast. It was so good we came back, and we now have the Time Cafe saved on our google maps πΊ.
lovely cafe with great views, prices were very reasonable and food was great. amazing vegan options and they were happy to make accommodations. coffee was great too!
A really unexpected treat on a visit the the cave!
Great decor that really goes to town on the "time" theme, comfortable, clean and really homely in feel. Really friendly and efficient service and a great menu with a huge range of items to suit all tastes and budgets.
I opted for a full English which was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I've had in a long time with well cooked top quality ingredients in plentiful quantities. The black pudding and sausage were stand out items but it was all great.
The flat white was nicely made and, unlike many places, tasted of coffee, good coffee at that.
The kids had beans on toast and a sausage sandwich with chips as part of their meal deal, both great and enjoyed.
Ice creams finished things off, again good quality stuff, loads of flavours to choose from and serving options.
Well worth a visit if you're if you're in the area even if not visiting the caves themselves. Loads of outdoor seating and spectacular scenery to enjoy while you're there. A few things for kids to play with too.
Thanks to everyone involved, it was a very memorable meal, I just wish you were nearer so I could do it more often!
Pistachio cake to die for. My only regret is I didn't buy a slice to bring home
Superb hilltop Cafe with really friendly staff and a great menu and coffee (including gluten free options)... The soup and scrambled eggs were great sustenance 100km into a 200km ride. Well worth a visit.
Lovely stop, really enjoyed the sausage roll
