I went there on a recommendation and it exceeded my expectations. The portion sizes are big so you won't leave there hungry and members of staff are very friendly

An unexpected gem of a restaurant, in terms of the food and service, tucked away in a Bristol suburb. The decor is tired, the menus tatty and poorly printed, but the "special lamb chops" were absolutely delicious! The spice tray with the poppadoms was varied and delicious, the poppadoms themselves light and dry, not greasy. We both had lamb dishes - the Tal Lamb was beautifully tender with a mild flavoursome sauce and both rice dishes ( pilau and vegetable) were very tasty, with an imaginative mix of vegetables in the latter. But the tandoori marinated lamb chops were the stars of the evening - clearly there is a talented chef in the kitchen who really knows how to use herbs and spices! Our friendly waiter was attentive and yet relaxed, even though he seemed to be working on his own.

Food is spot on, staff are very friendly and you don’t have to wait long, I highly recommend for dining in or takeaway. Also there is parking outside and have to bring own alcohol, but there is a shop a few doors down.

This is an awesome place for some good Indian taste. The price is good and the place is very cozy and comfortable. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. A must visit place if you are looking for some Indian / Bangladeshi / Pakistani taste.

I eat at curry houses all over the South West, I always try cuisine when I'm in other countries. I booked a table, took my young children who were made welcome, the owner and staff are attentive and lovely, nothings too much trouble, they made me an off the menu dish and it was easily top 5 curries I've ever eaten, kids had a korma, they made a half portion for my 5 year old, they also were very impressed. Come here you won't be disappointed.

The best Indian food we had in England, but the waiter seems not quite interested to promote their food at all! The chief is really nice and good, came out to explain why it took time to cook our food.

We had a lovely meal. We have been there twice and the service both times was swift with a lovely, kind and helpful waitor. It is a bring your own bottle and there is a shop recommended next door with a good alcohol selection. We started with poppadoms - they have a tasty selection of toppings. We then had onion bhajis to start which were decently sized, well seasoned and crispy. My partner then had a Bhuna (I think) and I had the butter chicken. A previous review wasn't so keen but I really liked the butter chicken. It was deliciously sweet and the chicken was tasty even without the sauce. It went well with the sweet peshwari naan which had a nice crisp to it balanced against our savoury egg rice. Once we finished our waitor was kind enough to package everything that we hadn't managed to finish (our eyes were too big for our stomachs). Tasty meal all round for casual or special dining.

Six of us ate here last night. Absolutely beautiful food, so fresh and tasty and exceptional service even though it was really busy. Highly recommend and will most definitely eat here again. Thank you all for a lovely evening. It’s BYO which suited us all fine.🥰

The food is amazing bursting with flavor, the quality of the meat it out of this world it falls apart and is so tender and juicy. It is well priced for the effort put into making the dishes. The servers there are always accommodating and kind, and always behave like true gentleman ( I wish we had that in every restaurant). The restaurant is cosy and authentic to Indian style. You will never regret eating here !

Never disappoints & bring your on alcohol making it a much more cost effective evening, local support very much needed please go try it out then recommend to friends and family..... Place could do with a refurbishment but I don't think they can afford it, if the community ever decides to get together and help with this count me in.
