Called in for a meal with three friends in October 2023.
We hadn’t booked and were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, and the restaurant was clean and nicely laid out. Menu was as you’d expect and the staff were very helpful in advising on house specials and particular flavours. I’m not a massive curry fan and so I always go for the chicken dupiaza with a garlic naan whenever in a curry house, so I can compare exactly between venues; and this was excellent quality. All of the meals were very tasty and a good portion size – no complaints whatsoever.
Would highly recommend, and would be more than happy to visit again.
Excellent quality food. One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited in quite a while. Service second to none. Tables spotless set out perfectly. Toilets immaculately clean. And given it's location on the Wirral, very competitively priced. Will definitely be back!

We have been a few times, this last time we used the Meerkat meals offer with 2 for 1. Prices are reasonable anyway, and the food is very good. Service was excellent and they were quite busy. Highly recommended 👌

Popped in on busy evening about late tea time for a takeaway. Twenty five mins was said to me. People were being asked to come back to done as was so busy! YES, it did take 35 mins and it was GREAT. Tasty prawn puri with super spicy jolokia although I couldn't really taste or see the spinach in it. Keema pilau rice was to "die for" and a really nice touch was the extra poppadom and onion and delicious rialta. BRILLIANT in all. WELL DONE.
Lovely food and plenty of choice. Had the lamb shank and would definitely recommend. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice ambience
First visit, most definitely not the last. The food was amazing and the service was first class, such delightful young men. Can't reccommend highly enough

Been to Parkgate for 40 years. Missed this great restaurant for the past 14 years. Trying to think of a negative to be honest.........Great meal.

Food is always fresh an plates are served hot 🔥 not cold plates. Services is quick an if your not sure on what to have the staff guide you.
Working away and fancied a tikka masala. Enjoyed it all. Very filling, would definitely have it again.
Lovely meal tonight. Had popadoms and dips, chicken chat starter, lamb korai my friend had vegetable sagwala pilau rice and peshwari naan. Couldn't fault it. Naan was a little bit on the burnt side but still edible. Will definitely be returning with family 😃 also take meerkat meals discount so even better
This is an excellent Curry House.
Recently visited with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our selection of curry, rice, nan breads raita etc. Everything was well prepared and presented by the friendly efficient staff. At the end of the meal we all agreed the food was excellent and the cost very reasonable.
Toilets were also exceptionally clean.
We will be going there again soon!
