Excellent fish and chips to have on the beach. Do a phone order if you can then wait on the left, otherwise join the short que on the right. We went for the Cod Fish and that was really nice.
We placed a large order so rang ahead of time and the order was perfectly executed! The staff were very friendly. The food was great and the portion sizes generous. It is so close to the beach that eating on the beach is totally do-able. Highly recommend!
Always a friendly team & excellent quality on the several occasions I've been. Batter has always been crispy & delicious. Also offers gluten free battered fish which is a great bonus as it's harder to find in local chippies. Good portion size, I always go for a small which I find has a good ratio of chips to fish.

I had the regular chips and small cod which were very yummy and a great size. Even the small was a decent portion size that our youngest had. They all came in a box so they were great to eat out of on the beach! Just what we wanted on our holidays.
The shandy bass was a blast from the past too!

lovely gluten free cod and curry sauce, Im visiting the area and loved the curry sauce, unfortunately our local chip shops don't offer gluten free! Will visit again, I would recommend visiting if your visiting the area. My family enjoyed their late lunch,Fresh cod, friendly staff, Thank you 😊

If you are around Par then having a Val's is highly recommended. As vegetarians their vegetarian burgers are really good.
Amazing fish and chips, the best I’ve had in ages! Batter was very crispy. Great portions for the price. Will definitely be coming back again when we’ve had a trip to Eden. Staff are really friendly too!
Don't mind waiting for nice fish and chips. To speed the process up the order was taken as we queued so it was just a case of paying and saying if we wanted salt and vinegar when we got to the door. There's enough to share between two.The photos show a small fish and chips. Within the order was a children's sausage and chips (that came with a drink), the amount was significant for a child's portion, if I would have known I'd have ordered the children's portion for myself.
Parking is just before the building on the right hand side. Wheelchair accessible as it's ground floor.
Telephone orders welcome too which are collected in a separate queue to the left (as you face the building). Faded spray painted instructions on the floor in front of the door.
Check their website for opening times as it's not open all day.
Weave been here a couple of times now and every time the food has been outstanding, the service exemplary and on the whole the whole experience was absolutely amazing. We will be definitely coming here again and I'd recommend this place to everybody as a quality is exemplary.

Good fish and chips. I ordered haddock instead of cod but others prefers cod, both were very good.
I wish they’d take down the Covid plastic screen by the counter, I couldn’t hear what they were saying . Someone came round to take our order which was very helpful.
