Cracking golf course. An amazing layout and some very interesting holes, all set in an incredible location. Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Small and friendly . Good tucker. Very short course but with character. Friendly. Not full of businessmen and suited professionals but more ordinary decent just folk who just enjoy a bit of golf and don't take it overly seriously but just love the game! I have had some good times here in the fresh air. Less pressure than the bigger courses and just a nice day out.

Unbelievable course & amazing staff. Beautiful holes that are well worth your money! The staff in the clubhouse were so welcoming, cappuccino & bacon & egg bap for £6 before going out & playing some great golf ⛳️ can’t go wrong! Highly recommend this place.

The five stars are for beautiful walking terrain with fabulous views. I wouldn't think it's great for playing golf though because there are far far more walkers than golfers!

Natural golf course. One does not need fancy grass or high walls to play golf. Perfect scenic golf course. Early morning tee off might be the best ever.

I've played golf for 20 years and this place is the most interesting course I have ever played - a true gem. Blind tee shots, extraordinary views and tiny greens.

Fantastic course that proved extremely challenging for myself and my playing partners! I wouldn't say it's a complete beginners course but it's extremely fun and very reasonably priced. The clubhouse was lovely with great staff and good pricing. I was surprised how cheap it was!

Lovely roast carvery. Really enjoyed the food and with my disability, it eas perfect having a car park here so I didn't have to walk far from it. Lovely Christmas decorations and good selection if drinks available from the bar. A great place to have a meal that is nothing too fancy, somewhere you don't need to dress up too much, you can be yourself but wear wide trousers so you can eat more!

This course is a challenge, but accuracy rewards! . This is a course which has many great holes, although not overly long, very undulating with a few blind tee shots and requires stamina. A cotswold gem, quiet, at one with nature and perfect. Love it

Very quirky course, don't let the yardage make you think it plays easy

Such a great location for a walk and view. Never had any issue up there with a dog and parking is convenient. I tell everyone about this place as its a lovely drive there as well, with lots of great places nearby for grub.

Excellent course, very well maintained considering the location and one of the most quirky unique courses you will ever play. My new favourite course and well worth the long car journey. A must play for any serious golfer

A tricky golf course. You won't need a driver off the tee, accuracy will beat distance on this course. Golf Mates did a YouTube video playing Painswick. That's worth watching. The greens are small.
