Somewhere if you want a good.meal for a good price.
This place is good and we was really surprised. The staff were amazing and could not fuss out dog enough and gave her water and treats, the food was good and just what we needed late at night.
This is a real hidden gem and we would recommend this for a cheap and cheerful meal
This place is a must visit, must enjoy, you deserve it! We went on steak night, which was great, but the special specials board won the wow factor! The seafood linguine was truly proper high quality same day local seafood made by quality chefs. Classy and super delicious. Perfect! 10 stars!
Lovely place, the staff were so nice as well, really dog friendly also. We'll be back before we have to go home.
Went on a steak night. Great value on 2 meals. Limited kids menu compared to sister site Finlake.. sadly although main first of school holidays very quiet . No music so lacked any atmosphere. Have to say food was nicer than expected .
Would really benefit from some music and the wine list to include prosecco, other than that decent steak, pizzas are lovely and service was good.
I had the chicken and my god this was so good. My partner had a burger, another had the ham and eggs and one had the chicken 🍔 burger. All were extremely well executed and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend. Great staff and dog friendly
This restaurant on the site of our lodge for our holiday, has really gotten better since we last came. They have always had friendly staff but now the food seems even better, and the atmosphere is lovely. Better tables and chairs show it's being cared for. It was lovely to be able sit down and feel relaxed.
Food was great when we went. We did the Tuesday Steak night and had two steaks for £20 and added the peppercorn sauce. We asked for one medium and one medium rare and got exactly what we wanted. The garlic and herb chips tasted incredible and we couldn't complain about any of it.
Had a lovely meal meal with family. Was out if prime time but service was excellent. Bar staff very attentive. Looking forward to going back soon.

We were staying just up the road, and decided to walk down (using the route through the holiday park, as there's limited space for pedestrians on the main road)
What a find, the food was delicious, and the waitress/bar staff did a great job accommodating us.
It was a weekday, outside of summer holidays, and the holiday park isn't massive, so the atmosphere wasn't 100%, but then sometimes it's nice to be in a quiet pub for dinner.
With 3 pairs enjoying the 2 for £20 steak night, the food and drink was very reasonably priced.
The only thing that let the pub down, their industrious owners (Haulfryn Holiday Group) insistence on cash-free:
I dont mind paying by card, but when the card machine wouldn't accept Visa's (we tried 5, from different banks, both contactless and the old chip and pin) it was a bit of a struggle to pay for our food! (Thankfully one of us had a Mastercard but now we'll have to interchange our account details to sort it ourselves).
Overall we had a great evening, so many thanks to the staff!
Nice and friendly pub and the food is absolutely fantastic and would recommend. I think it is better than the harvester. Going to miss it when going home from holiday.
Lovely fresh modern look and feel to the place. Nice comfortable seating inside. Great home cooked food with even better service 👏😋 Made a lovely family get together perfect.
Had my beautiful wedding here :) great food, plenty of it carvery. Our set up for the venue was great. Alice was nice, 1 day before the wedding the venue was doubled booked which wasn't nice while I was setting up. Doing pilates I was very annoyed. During our wedding I spoke to Alice privately to ask for a complementary hotub for our lodge, for the 1 night. She did it was a great lodge with a exceptional hotub. Couldn't fault it.
We came here at the end of November for 4 roast dinners and a childrens meal. The roasts were amazing one of the best roast dinners we’ve all had. And plenty of it.
Childrens Mac and cheese was tasty but daughter didn’t like the herbs in it.
The staff were lovely and very helpful as we had a double buggy so put us some where I could have that near as baby asleep. The decor is beautiful and I really want their chairs as they are sooooo comfy!!
