Spotted this place while walking back from beach one day, so returned to try the food. Due to location we parked in the pay carpark that we'd used to visit the beach and then a very short walk. Tbh if you go anywhere, you normally have to pay to park in the area. I had the monk fish which was great and my partner had a big fresh chicken salad. My 7 year old daughter had olives and bread with a coke. Staff were quick, polite and the meals came out in good time. There were other families and couples enjoying their meals and there's quite a nice theme to the place. I believe it is good to support a local business and felt it was good value for what we had. I did manage to squeeze a sticky toffee pudding in also. Thank you and hopefully see you again.

One of the best cups of tea I have ever had. Cup was huge. Cream tea was also warm and freshly made. Would eat there again any time. Toilet was cute, staff was very friendly.

Walking past on our way to the beach and we noticed the menu had monkfish. The owner/chef was just walking in and said freshly caught each day and really moist. We called in on our way back and they just had one monkfish left. It was delious and very moist though I have to be honest I took the batter off and squeezed the fresh lemon over it. My husband had the chilli beef and really enjoyed it too. Rachel was lovely too. Thanks for a great spontaneous lunch

The Sea Shack - a place that guarantees unforgettable experiences! We recently had the opportunity to visit this magical spot, and I must say it exceeded our expectations in every way. Firstly, let's talk about the fantastic selection of draught beer they offer. We were delighted to find a wide variety of delicious beers available, and what's even better is that they were reasonably priced at just £5 a pint. It was a real treat to enjoy a refreshing pint of quality beer while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. Moving on to the culinary delights, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the breakfast and lunch options. The breakfast was mouthwatering, with perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and freshly baked bread. It provided us with the energy we needed to kick-start our day. Later on, we indulged in a scrumptious lunch that left us completely satisfied. The flavors were expertly combined, and the presentation was simply exquisite. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Aside from the incredible food and drink, what truly sets The Sea Shack apart is the lively live music they feature. The talented musicians created an upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere that added an extra layer of excitement to our visit. We found ourselves tapping our feet and singing along to the tunes, creating unforgettable memories. Lastly, the location of The Sea Shack couldn't be more perfect. Situated in close proximity to both the beach and the steam railway, it offers a picturesque and idyllic setting. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and spent some time strolling along the sandy shores, immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the ocean. The convenience of having the steam railway nearby was an added bonus, allowing us to explore the surrounding areas with ease. Overall, our experience at The Sea Shack was nothing short of amazing. The combination of great beer, delicious meals, live music, and the stunning location made it a truly unforgettable visit. We will definitely be returning, as this place has won our hearts.

Fantastic restaurant/bar - great live music on weekends, unbelievable food at brilliant prices and staff are bloody brilliant!! Lee is a great Landlord who looks after everyone like family. Never walk past, always pop in! Especially with local sites not being dog friendly, bring your four legged friends with you! Book a table if in doubt, known for being busy (never ever a bad thing) Top quality everyone, well done! Forever a regular here xx

Love this place, really relaxed atmosphere. We visit at least once a week with our support group and a dog and are always made welcome. Good coffee and nice food. Have also visited for a live music evening, a great night for atmosphere & relaxation. Location is handy on the way or back from the beach. Independent business like this should be supported. It's presently quite new, and we look forward to it developing and continuing to enjoy time here.

Hidden away with interesting decor. Upmarket "cafe" does great breakfast with day/evening menu. Good place for a quiet drink/meal away from busy beach.

Had lunch here to celebrate my daughter's birthday and were pleasantly surprised. The cod & chips were excellent - my husband said the best he'd had for many years! The decor was lovely and great service. Very good prices too. We'll definitely come again.

Excellent full English breakfast enjoyed by the whole family (8) no issue with mix and match of ingredients, then returned later for an evening meal again excellent choice. Friendly atmosphere really pleasant staff nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely return when we are back in the area. A great place to dine or just to have a coffee or hot chocolate after a walk along the beach.

Lovely place to eat, just at the South end of Goodrington beach, under the railway arch. Where from the outside seating you get a great view of the steam train. Food was very nice with a good selection and coffees are excellent. The service and kitchen waiting time needs to be honed but would still recommend this modern place to eat and chill.

Popped in for a coffee and was warmly welcomed. Good coffee and a very good price compared to other seaside locations. The ambience was great. They have a Facebook page highlighting events and live music evenings. Dogs welcome.

We had the most gorgeous breakfasts here the other day, I was so pleased as I completely finished my plate which is an experience I rarely get! The staff were so lovely and helpful, and overall I am willing to recommend this to everyone I know and am returning soon for my birthday!
