hi down here on holiday and just picked up a take away, fantastic meal, pancake rolls are the best, crispy beef brilliant as was the pork curry.

We're in town on holiday,and my wife fancied a Chinese meal,to take back to our Caravan. Found The Golden Lily, purely by chance,and i'm glad we did! Lovely food,especially my spare ribs. It's cash only though,so go prepared. Well worth it though. Highly recommended
It's our only choice for Chinese takeaway. They do not serve dine-in, do have delivery. No attempt at atmosphere, just a kitchen with a counter in the front, and room for 2-3 customers standing at counter for pickup. But the food is terrific!
Very good overall. Sweet n sour chicken balls, spare ribs and boiled rice very tasty, decent sized portions, with obviously fresh and crunchy vegetables. Good value and courteously served. No website and cash only a slight hindrance, but waiting time only 12min, and nearby on street parking ok after six pm. Recommended.

We've been searching for 4 years in the Bay to find a great Chinese...non have ever been close , until the other night when I discovered this excellent Chinese when " my usual not so great Chinese" I use to go to didn't answer their phone. My gain!!! As I discovered the Golden Lilly instead! Ordered twice in one week.
The prawn crackers are light , fresh and amazing! The ribs are the best I've ever had, the curry is amazing! The singerpore Chow Mein was delicious and the omelette and chips tasty.
Can't wait to sample more as I've been looking for a great Chinese like this for 4 years since moving here.
The man on the phone is always a pleasure to talk to and order your food with...he's very friendly and good at his job..could be the owner...
The delivery man is great! He found a very difficult house to find as other Chinese delivery people in the past have never found the house and the food ends up going cold ! and another plus with Golden Lily is it arrives swiftly and is piping hot!
5 stars from me.
Now I get excited to have a Chinese and it doesn't feel like a dread when you want a takeaway.

Love this Chinese! Always good quality, tasty food, and doesn't leave that heavy sick feeling after, like some take outs do. I usually order to deliver so wait time is usually around 45mins but that's no problem for me and food always arrives hot. Best Chinese in my opinion.

Lovely food.. lovely staff.. but cash only.. there is a cashpoint round the corner..so not all was lost.
Salt and pepper ribs were dry as I wanted exactly as when I had them 20 yrs ago divine.
On holiday and got hungry. Proper fried rice, tasty and goid value. They are cash only. Staff are polite and service was quick. Really nice food
