Superb meal for an anniversary celebration with my partner and my two sons. Food was delicious, I had veal escalopes stuffed with asparagus which was heavenly, portion sizes were perfect and the restaurant itself is lovely as are the staff. My 10 year old son who is somewhat of a cheesecake aficianado said Nicks homemade white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake was the best cheesecake he had ever tasted and I would have to agree!!! Most definitely recommend this lovely restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening and we will most definitely return �

Came for a birthday celebration on sat night...what can i say...amazing food...great service...excellent prices.. faultless....will most defitley be returning...and finished the evening with the chef coming out and meeting his diners..how very proffessional...and this man nick..by god can he cook.....excellent..no less than 5 star.

Just had a lovely Sunday Lunch here. Great starters followed by delicious roasts served with plenty of veg, roasties and huge Yorkshires. Already booked in for next week!

This was one of the best meals I have had. So fresh and tasty. The young waiter was fantastic, knowledgeable snd attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our party of 4 was served in a reasonable time and all of us throughly enjoyed the food we had. (pork. Seafood smokey, steak and kidney pie and stuffed plaice) we also had sweets and the value for money is exceptional. Thank you Avenue Bistro
This restaurant serves delicious home made dishes with great service in a lovely atmosphere. We learned it has long been a favourite with the locals and we can see why. May you continue to have success and we look forward to coming back again in the future

Best food we've had in a long time. Great menu, great price, amazing service, and delicious food. 2 meals with desert's and drink for under £50. The standard of everything they could price it higher. Obviously glad they hadn't. A hidden gem!!
What a little jem, tucked away. The starters were works of art, taste amazing.: prawn and pineapple starter, whitebait. The main chosen by us (braised steak roast) has been the best I have tasted in a very very long time. The tallest Yorkshire puds.
Wonderful ambience, delightful team. A practically perfect place to enjoy real food.

The Avenue is the best meal in Paignton, lovely people, fantastic food, top class. Limited tables so book well in advance, can’t recommend highly enough.
