Had a lovely latte with almond milk this morning at Amore. They have a great selection of vegan and gluten free cakes too and the owners run the place who are very attentive, friendly and accommodating so I highly recommend it for those who have dietary needs or any fussiness with how they like their drinks and food. I’ll be sure to try out their cakes next!

Lovely little coffee shop with some great seating at the back. Amore doesn't have much kerbside appeal, looking distinctly average from the street. Inside and there's plenty of seating with some big sofas at the back. You'll be greeted with a lovely display of cakes and there's a decent menu of sandwiches too. The staff are kept very busy and sometimes their focus on detail is distracted as a result. A spilt drink on our table was no noticed and even after an appeal for some napkins, this still wasn't noticed. When it was, the puddle was given a cursory wipe - leaving a larger puddle to dry up. Not great, kids. Perfectly decent food and drink at reasonable prices and there's a nice feel to the place. And the cakes - oooh, yummy 😍

Went in to pass time whilst the grandchildren were in the arcade with their parents. Had a coffee and a brownie biscuit. I would have had a slice of cake if I had someone to share it with, as the portions looked huge and a good variety. Good service, very clean, comfortable seating, good prices too. Be aware the toilets are up a flight of stairs so not totally disable friendly if you need the loo. Such a shame, but I suppose nothing can be done about the layout of the building, so if you need the toilet, try to 'go' before you get there. Still recommend a visit.

Went in on the off chance of a table as it was busy. So glad we did. The softest freshest bread for the sandwiches. Just delicious. And coffee is gorgeous. Lovely people, very friendly and safe. Exceptionally clean. Highly recommend

Not very impressed with Paignton as a place. Looking for somewhere to have a late lunch snack and found Amore. The food was well presented and tasty. The place lacked a bit of atmosphere but then so do many places due to covid restrictions. Always happy to support a small business instead of a chain.

Excellent coffee and the selection of cakes is amazing. Staff very friendly. The whole experience is truly exceptional. None of the cramped spaces in the bigger chains. Thank you we will be back

We visited Paignton on Saturday and we're looking for a dog-friendly place to sit and have a coffee with our little Shih-Tzu Teddy. We received a really warm welcome and dogs are welcome in all parts of the coffee shop - and there are even comfy rugs ready to take and put down for your woofs to sleep on. Great selection of freshly made cakes (the coffee cake and Bakewell tart were very tasty) and the hot food looked good. Excellent customer service and comfy chairs at the back in the cool - ideal on a warm day. Highly recommended :-)
