Isaac Merritt - Paignton - Photo album

Been a couple of times recently and staff have been lovely and informative. The toilets are spotless and smell nice showing the dedication of that dedication. Reminds me of that old family pub feel from 20 years ago but cleaner
Good atmosphere, I liked the vintage aesthetics. No food served at venue.
No food, but a really lovely ex-wetherspoon pub. Pool table, dart board and juke box makes it more of a local than it ever used to be. Bit of a hidden gem in Paignton I think, being off the high street right at the top of the town.
Good deals on drinks, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Can't comment about food as I haven't eaten there. Decour is looking rather tired though
Good, cheap pub. Old Wetherspoons bought over. Don't do food but have cobs and hot pies etc. Excellent beer and spirits choice and very welcoming as well as being dog friendly
A great full-English breakfast, washed down with beer! ! Can't be bad!!!!! Service was maybe a little slow , but staff were pleasant and courteous .
Nice enough pub, small beer garden. Served a nice glass of cider. Helpful staff
Have used the pub on a few occasions but decided to eat here. The food was lovely but it took over 30 minutes arriving at our table and considering it was quite I had to go and ask how much longer it would be as we had drank the drink it came with. Finally arrived and was worth the wait.
Quiet place to go to for a mid-afternoon weekend drink. Friendly staff, but decor needs updating. I understand the pub now has new owners, so hope it gets a good makeover.
Nice pub with loads of choice when it comes to beer. Friendly staff and the landlord is very good and knowledgeable
This is a good pub, they do good food, great drinks and friendly staff
Love this place. Even more accomodating than when it was a Wetherspoons. They allow dogs 👍👍 Kept cheap beer prices 👍👍 Good food 👍👍 I make altered books and they went out of their way to donate some books for me to alter. How kind. Thank you 🙏🙏
Had a breakfast here on Sunday 2nd Oct. It was very good indeed. I would now say that is in the top two breakfast venues in Paignton Town (Grand Central being the other). Proper butchers sausages and bacon. Cooked to perfection. Great value at £4.99 too. Highly recommended.
Nice pub, Love to visit just a shame no food, Big mistake, will be difficult to get people back if you start food again,
Not had the food, just popped in for a pint. Really friendly staff and good selection of beers. The prices are brilliant for a pub at the height of season. 3 quid for a Thatchers and less for some others.
