Went to this Inn yesterday for an evening meal with my husband. We both had two meals for the price of one - beer battered fish and chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce and steak and ale pie, peas and chips and lots of lovely gravy - and two desserts for the price of one - waffle with ice cream, cream and strawberry sauce and two pancakes with ice cream and cream and strawberry and prosecco sauce. We did not have long to wait and the meals were delicious. They arrived hot for the main meals, the atmosphere was great with nice easy listening music in the background, plenty of space around the tables, very friendly staff. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. Highly recommend having a meal there.
I visited inn on the green on Friday at 6pm for my birthday meal. The place has just had a refurb and has been very nicely done. The food was excellent, very tasty and presented well. The steaks we ordered were cooked perfect and were extremely tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our server Shannon went above and beyond to make sure our experience at inn on the green was one to remember, she even stayed a little after her shift had finished to take our dessert order. Will definitely return and will recommend to others
Mother's Day meal wife given complimentary glass of prosecco my wife had the gammon very nice the girls shared a pizza very nice and I had a medium cooked 12oz rib eye steak one of the best I have had all in all a great meal and very attentive staff. Will come again.
Cannot recommend this venue highly enough! The food was amazing and the service and staff second to none! Free glass of prosecco for us mums as it was Mother’s Day, and even when our day didn’t end quite as planned the staff were incredible in helping everyone involved! Thank you Xx

Came in earlier this week and the place was busy. A young lady called Kerry greeted us and made us very welcome explaining that there is a wait for food. We were happy to wait. Food was lovely and we didn't wait long at all. The best factor however was as Kerry. She was bang on point and made our visit a fantastic one. If her management are reading this get this girl promoted as she is first class and represents your brand brilliantly. You go girl well done x
Went here today with my hubby had a great time food was delicious and the staff was friendly would definitely go back again and vale for money... highly recommend this pub.
We had a fantastic evening with wonderful friends and amazing food and service. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. The food was spot on. The new decor is so bright and welcoming. Can't wait for June when we will be down again. Would highly recommend to everyone I know.
We were staying in paignton for a few days lovely place Newyr eve was amazing great staff great atmosphere people enjoying themselves disco quiz only had drinks but food looked very good as we live in Dorset and they have one in ferndown which we go to love it
We went on Mothering Sunday didn't book so weren't sure we'd get in but we did the food was lovely service was brilliant would defo recommend this place it's lovely now it's been revamped and taken over by marstons my husband likes it because they sell the real ales a lovely relaxing lunch staff were great
Just enjoyed the nicest atmosphere for a family Xmas eve meal, the staff were all lovely and we were made to feel welcome, oh and the food - was delish !!
Great food very well cooked. The steak was that good it was like a hot knife through butter when cutting it. Excellent choice of drinks and the red wine is good. Back foe the 2nd night running excellent service

Not too many people about, so easy to get a drink. Sat outside in the glorious September sun. Outside could do with a bit of tiding up. A gardener to start with then a painter. Didn't have food this time but its been spot on in the past.
Loved this place. Found it by accident and enjoyed lunch here. Ellie and Katie were absolutely first rate. We both really enjoyed their company and they made us feel so welcome. Because of that we came back for our evening meal. Steak was first class and lasagna was enjoyed too.
All staff are great and it was wonderful to see Ellie and Katie again this evening, who both remembered us from this afternoon. 10/10. Visit this place.
The is never enough staff but the staff that are there work very hard.The Meals are very good. My only complaint is being given the smallest cream jug you could find for the custard; to go with the Jam Sponge pudding. I ended up leaving half the pudding one night because it was too dry to eat without the custard. Though last night we were given extra after asking for more. The cheese cake was the smallest portion I've ever seen being sold in a restaurant for £5.50. You could buy a whole cheese cake & more for that price. Other than that my family had a nice night, Hannah & her staff worked really hard! and were very polite on such a very busy Saturday night. I do recommend the food, especially the fresh fish in batter. It was excellent.
Had a meal there today with my boyfriend and my dog Rosie 🐕. Staff were very welcoming, restaurant and loos were very clean. Food was fabulous. We will be back again soon guys. Think your place will be very cosy in the winter.
Had dinner here for the first time today and we will be back!! We had a roast each and macaroni cheese, garlic cheesy bred and sweet potato chips for the children and we all had a desert too. Absolutely amazing. One of the best roasts I’ve ever had and I’m quite fussy. We sat outside to spare anyone our son’s toddler tantrums and the service was so quick and so friendly. Lovely place. Highly recommend. We will be back soon! Compliments to the chef 👨🍳
The last visit was pretty poor just over a year ago part of the ceiling had fallen in. I must say this year was much more pleasant. The restaurant had been refurbished and was much smarter. The food was really nice and to the standard I would expect from a chain. Nice and hot food portion sizes and served by a friendly waitress who actually took the time to talk to us. On the down side the out side was pretty poorly maintained but don’t let this detract you from going in well worth a visit.
We are staying a five minute walk from here, so thought a quick drink rather than sit in our room. We didn't have food, just drinks, and we sat outside, started drizzling but the umbrellas over the outdoor tables are quite good cover. Nice atmosphere, nice and clean. Would visit again.
Food was tasty and plentiful. We took advantage of the steak and drink offer (it was a Thursday) which saved us a lot of money. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We were able to take our little dog Bowie as well which was great for us. We finished of the afternoon with drinks in the beer garden. It was lovely.
There was eight of us and we had a lovely meal. We were served in good time and didn't have to wait very long for are food.
I could see they were very sort staffed but even so it was brilliant service. We will see you again soon. Thank you.
I just popped in for a pint while the family were on the Paignton beach . Great outside patio area with palm trees and sun. Friendly staff . Average prices .
Came in with our dog today we were offered a fresh bowl of water for the dog. The food was lovely steak yummy.

Fantastic lunch today, right opposite the pier. Good food options - and all tasted great.

Visited In on the green Paignton on 22/04/23 table 23, A stone throw away from where we where staying atmosphere was good staff was pleasant and welcoming food was hot and lovely prices were reasonable
Only let down was the interior inside and in need of updating also there was a leak in the roof which was being seen to apart from that I would visit again
Sunday eve meal out very impressed overall with food and service very accommodating with changes wanted and food was lovely all staff lovely and helpful would be happy to come back again
Friendly and comfortable pub/restaurant. Meals were good. I thought the pizza was a little small for the money but not the end of the world as we had a discount offer via email, as we subscribe to their mailers. Large seating area outside overlooking the seafront so a great place to be in the summer. The Brie dippers were very tasty. Pool table next to the bar. A good place to take the family.
Nice pub, lovely staff, nice selection of drinks available. Food was good, only shame is, onions were missing on my partners sausage n mash dinner and both our desserts had very minimal custard avaliable for our jam sponge and treacle puddings.
