all food cooked fresh to order chips are cooked in a light batter which can sometimes feel greasy but yet they will always fill u up big time some of the foods can be a bit pricey but u do get yr moneys worth if not more!!

Visited for a quick bite yesterday, was a lovely little stop. Service was impeccable from very beginning when gentleman taking orders right up until leaving. Good was very well cooked and full of flavour. I recommend the chips with any meal as the chips are delicious. Would personally revisit and highly recommend a stop.

Was recommended this chippy by my colleagues who live locally. I came for a work trip and fancied fish and chips. The queue going out the door was a good sign and it wasn’t wrong. Delicious chips, plenty of salt & vinegar. Quick and friendly service

Wow! After a bad experience with another chippy in Paignton we found scoffs. Although they were about to shut they let us sit down and eat. The service was fantastic the food was amazing especially the Yorkshire chips and curry sauce. If I’m ever in Paignton again I will always go back!

Great food, chips were lovely with their secret batter, crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy inside. Was expecting it to be quite greasy but the total opposite less than a regular fish and chips. Best chippy I've had. Lady on the till serving was lovely too, great customer service made me feel welcome and had a good laugh with her whilst taking me order.

Fabulous fish shop. Found on the main street of Paignton. (Local call it the golden mile). We have been coming here for a number of years, during the summer. Never had a bad meal. There are lots to choose from on the menu, including some homemade dishes. Good value for money, especially during current times.

We went in for lunch. We shared a large cod (£7.80) and a large portion of chips (£4.00). We thought it was a decent size to share, and the chips were amazing. Very orange chips, but soft and fluffy. Would recommend. Was incredibly busy when we went in so a little loud, but I recommend checking them out.

Great chips. I'm not sure how they cook them, but they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fish was pretty standard, and smaller than expected.

The food is always good, delicious, but the closing time is far too early, plus take advantage of all customers wanting food even if it means staying open an extra 15 minutes, I went in 10 minutes before closing time and wanted two fish and chips and battered sausage plus a burger, because it wasn't already cooked I could only have chips (they were still delicious) two more family's came in at the same time and wanted fish etc so they lost over£100 in orders, at this time every sale is vital, isn't it?

We go here every time in Devon. Being from the black country its the only other place I have been able to find that sells chips like this. They claim the orange chip is a Yorkshire thing, but iv only seen them in the Midlands.
