Absolutely smashing!
We were on summer holiday at a local campsite and visited this place as a treat for my birthday.
Really nice place well laid out and friendly welcoming team.
Service was prompt and faultless and the food arrived remarkably quickly.
Absolutely delicious... And good sized portions too. Really happy - will definitely return if I am ever in the area again!
Amazing food and great experience. Theme is definitely fitting to the name with cowboy hats scattered around the place with a rustic and homely feel to it. Friendly staff and steaks were seasoned to perfection.
A pricier meal but worth the cost if you truly enjoy your steaks.
Parking is plenty but can be difficult when busy as soon fills up quicker. Bear this in mind if you're travelling a fair distance and plan accordingly
One of the best places I’ve been for food for a very long time. Absolutely great staff who were very funny and welcoming, drinks were prompt, the main was unbelievable and dessert was huge. No complaints from anyone on the table.
Would go again in a heart beat, thank you for the great food and experience!

Visited on Saturday at around 16:00 (before dinner and after lunch so the restrant was nice and quiet for a quick lunch for my Dads birthday)
Absolutely lived up to the hype and the reviews. The food was excellent. I Highly recommend, well, everything! But specially- the ribs, lamb chops, garlic bread.. and obviously, the steak :) We had a "meat feast" main, and a feast it was!
The kids menu has good options, including mac and cheese (delightfully generous with the cheese) and steak on a hot stone that they can finish cooking themselves.
My advice- Save space for pudding!! Excellent selection and really indulgent. The Biscoff cheesecake was a winner.
The restaurant itself is really big with loads of different seating areas and the tables are nicely spaced out. There is an outdoor area with tables, a patch of grass, swings and a jungle gym for smaller humans. Nice to have a play before food or between courses.
Service was friendly, reasonably quick and a birthday candle was popped in my dads dessert which was a lovely touch.
Only complaint- I wish you were closer so we could come again. Frequently!
All I can say is this place cooks steaks on par with the Americans. They know how to do it, starters, mains and sides all top class wouldn't change anything. And to top it off completely dog friendly and even have a small pet menu for your furry friends. This will be our go to restaurant on our little weekends away to Paignton.
I haven't stayed at the parkers arms but visit Cattlemans frequently for food! The steak is some of the best i have ever had, served on a scalding lava rock 😋 the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and even on busy nights the service is amazing! They do 2 steaks with sides for £29 which is a great deal!
Possibly the best steakhouse outside the USA. They have a únique and brillant way of serving the very best cuts of steak. There are many types of quality steaks to choose from and if you care for a challenge you can attempt to eat their huge steaks, if you manage that, they are not only FREE but you get a reward too!
We had a guest with us that was gluten and lactose intolerant and these guys went to extremes to accommodate him.
Ask for "Cookie" if you like first class service as he is The Best!

So after nearly a year we decided to travel down mainly for cattlemans. Today we made it our mission to eat in here and we were not disappointed. A real stunning place decorated very well a real friendly place with great service. A massive menu to choose from which made a difficult choice but wow. I had the meat feast and my partner the steak kebab and we would argue the best steak in the uk. We have both been blown away by the food and so very glad we made the effort to come down to try.
We booked in for the Sunday carvery and were not disappointed by anything!
The service was brilliant (nothing too much trouble), staff extremely friendly, the carvery was well stocked and varied with the whole place looking clean, modern and vibrant reasonably priced.
We’re booked in for Thursday evening to try out the main menu with (the infamous steak challenge) steaks and will review again!

Had a lovely evening here for my husbands birthday with family, food was really good and well presented... the staff were all great especially Leanne who was really friendly, helpful and looked after us all great service 👍 would definitely go again.
We visited here as they accommodate over night stays in their car park for camper vans (ring ahead to check availability).
We have been watching them on Facebook and loved the look of their food so decided to check them out.
Upon arrival the exterior looked run down in need of a paint, but other then that they had a lovely beer garden with children play equipment which has the benefit of the sun all day which we took advantage of with a few ciders in the afternoon.
We decided to try and order dinner but we hadn't made a reservation unfortunately (enjoying the ciders too much) but they brilliant and squeezed us in later.
When we were seated they were VERY busy, took quite a while to take our drinks, and then food order. We then had a long wait for the food - we were all famished. When it arrived the place had quietened down a lot and the food was AMAZING but a little pricey (a part from kids menu that was reasonable)!!!
Overall great stay here, just make sure you book a table ahead.
Stayed in Paignton over the weekend for the annual Triumph rally. Found this place by chance as it wasn't far from where we were staying. Service was top notch from the moment we arrived. Lovely friendly staff. Steaks were amazing! Will come by again if I'm ever back down that way. Couldn't fault anything.
