Wat a fantastic tasting curry visiting from Birmingham never had one that good would love it if you opened one in Birmingham as bit fare to travel for a curry and the staff are so friendly
The family running Gurkhas Diner is the same family that used to run the Himal Tandoori in Preston. So disappointed they decided to merge the 2 restaurants as we used to love going to the Himal, but just happy I can still enjoy their curries at Gurkhas Diner. Yum yum.
Went here 10days ago and returned tonite in spite of the dreadful evening weather atrocious!! However we had excellent chicken biryani and banana fritters. Great food, lovely friendly atmosphere, great staff, will come again.
Holiday in Devon Bay Holiday Park. Delivery on time, hot and tasty. Delivery driver found out caravan no problem at all. Had to walk over wet grass to get to our door and still with a pleasant smile. Great food & customer service.
Hidden gem! Best Indian in Devon by far, have eaten in restaurant and had takeaway now :)

I have not had such a rich flavoursome curry . Goan chicken and lamb. Keema rice with peshwari nan. Wonderful friendly service. Bang on. My anniversary today and our night hear was very special. Gone home a very full and satisfied lady. Totally recommended. ☺

What a fantastic restaurant, an authentic Nepalese experience with some of the best cuisine out there. Best food we’ve ate in Paignton while we were working away and visited twice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for tasty food and friendly people
The best neapalese and Indian cuisine in the heart of Paignton. So authentic that you’ve never tasted the curry like this before and it’s guaranteed. Vegan and vegetarian friendly so vast that I’ve never seen that many varieties in the menu before in any other Indian restaurant. Staff makes you feel like you are home . Service is incredible and they are not on top of you as you are enjoying your meal. Definitely recommend this family run restaurant and you won’t be disappointed.
We were looking for somewhere that had vegan curry options and this place did not disappoint. Authentic curry and probably the best Goan I've ever had. Friendly staff and nice to chat to the chef before and after the meal. Will definitely visit again next time we go to Paignton 👍

Home away from home, happened to be in Paignton all the way from Nepal for a family visit and discovered this cosy Nepalese restautant.
The food they serve is authentic nepalse and momo is exactly as it taste in Nepal.
Varied mixed menu choice both from nepal and India.
Staffs were really helpful and at the end of the meal Chef came out of the kitchen to get the feedback from us which you normally dont experience at other indian restaurant. Will definitley visit again on our next visit. Try the Nepalese curry from the menu which will blow your taste with the diffrent subtle spices. Good luck for the Team Gurkhas diner.
Small but friendly restaurant with great food. Confident chef who comes out to speak to his guests snd makes sure they are happy with the food. Reasonably priced with excellent menu choices. Great find!

One of the friendliest restaurants ever! The Nepalese chef spoke with us at length, and his food was superb. Best sheek kebab starter ever ... really spicy! Next time we're in Paignton, we'll be back!!

Fancied trying Nepalese food for a change instead of Indian as Indian food, although very nice, always makes me feel full and I never eat it all. 🙏 This was amazing! good portions and really good flavour levels, I went in for more and I never do that. I thought the chill garlic chicken was going to be unforrgoving spice wise but the balance was spot on!
Best takeaway in the bay by a mile. Food always tastes amazing and order always correct and complete. Communication accurate on delivery times too and usually arrives early. Fab
