Stumbled across this little family run place while on holiday... The people are very friendly ,and wow the food was out of this world. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Just been for evening meal tonight and this has to be one of my favourite places now. Such a lovely family restaurant. Food is delicious, excellent menu, good value for money and the service is second to none. Hidden gem definitely worth a visit.
Went here for a celebration meal on Friday fabulous night, staff so friendly, food excellent, nothing to much trouble. I would recommend and will definitely go again.

Fantastic Gurkha restaurant runed by a lovely Nepalese family. The staffs was really welcoming and hospitable and the restaurant provided wonderful service. The food was completely delicious, freshly cooked and very authentic. I really enjoyed my time at Gurkha restaurant. I highly reccomend to visit Gurkha restaurant.

Had a lovely night for my daughters birthday. Food was lovely. Portions are large. The staff were really friendly and attentive and looked after us really well. Will definitely be returning and now I've found out they offer delivery, we will def be using that service too.
Referring to Panner as 'cottage cheese' on the menu if sure doesn't do it any favours. I had a Cottage cheese veg dish. It was delicious. Truly lovely with a chilli coriander Nan which was more like a paratha. Super super tasty congrats to the chef.
Great service, nice and friendly without being overbearing. I shall be searching out Nepalese food again and if I find myself back in this part of the world I'll be back for more.
Had a fantastic meal there on Saturday, the service was amazing. I would definately recommend it to anyone looking for something new or a traditional curry, the owners are lovely and took time to talk to us and made us feel so welcome.
We've had 2 takeaways from here,so thought we'd try the restaurant. We weren't disappointed not that we thought we would,amazing food. One I know for sure is that we'll be using you again and again. I have had three different meals each and they were all top class.
First visit with a friend who is a real foodie. We loved making selections from the menu and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The serving staff were excellent and attentive without being intrusive. I'm sure we will visit again.
This little family owned gem is a must visit! They serve the most hearty and soul cleansing Nepalese food in the area. Although the food might take a little longer when it’s busier, it’s worth the wait! I would definitely come back here next time when i visit. Thank you so much for such a welcoming service and even tastier food.
The food was excellent. You'll find the usual curry items on the menu - korma, masala, madras etc. but it's much better to try some of the Nepalese alternatives.
Excellent service. Bottled beers are available - nothing on tap.
The only thing that let it down was the lack of atmosphere - I was the only person there on a Wednesday evening, which was a shame because it's a great little restaurant.

Firstly the Napalese food is just stunning, home made dishes that you could see they put effort in and seemed very proud of their food (which they should be).

Ordered a large takeaway and was told hour and half delivery, it turned up bang on one hour! Great food and speedy delivery. Both traditional curry house dishes and their own speciality dishes were delicious and reasonably priced
Quite simply one of the best meals we've ever had,I consider myself to be a bit of a curry connoisseur, the goat curry was just amazing. We be visiting again ASAP.

Normally have a takeaway but friends came down from the smoke so booked a table and eat out Food was delicious but very large portions and ended up with a doggy bag Recommend for the food Best to book as restaurant is small

One of the nicest tastiest curries I have had , quiet Friday evening was nice as my personal preference is just that will be visiting again.
Just had a fantastic meal in this restaurant. From the minute we entered the restaurant, the service was exceptional. I love my Indian food and can’t fault this place. Feels very homely and the staff made you feel part of the whole ambience. Great food, service above and beyond with great value for money. To top it off, we were given a few shots of Bailey ‘s as complimentary from the house. Awesome and thank you for this experience, and the amazing food.
Lovely family restaurant with excellent food. Dina is a particularly brilliant host and waitress. The food was so tasty and portion size generous - we loved the Nepalese dishes and beer. We would really recommend dining here! Make sure to book a table as the restaurant is small but busy. We came here because of the other reviews and were so glad we did!
If your ever in this area this little gem is a must it's the nicest Indian food me and my husband have had and we come here every time were on holiday in Devon can't wait to next year thank you xx
