Stopped here on 21st Sept 2017 at 14.00 & chose the lunch time set menu, which was fantastic at £9.90. I had option 'A' 2 satay chicken with peanut satay sauce, 2 spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce then chicken Thia curry & rice. Absolutely top marks. Staff were so friendly & attentive. Would certainly recommend this place & would return if i holiday near Paighton again. 🖒

Service and food is second to none, would definitely recommend to anyone. On holiday for a week and visited 3 times. Amazing staff and food :). Giant King Prawns are a must absolutely outstanding.

Food was ammaaaaazing! Staff were LOVELY! Very accommodating! Very friendly! Everybody just have smiled on their faces. We had to eat here twice ❤️ just couldn’t get enough of the food. They even sang happy birthday and gave me an ice cream cake for my birthday 🎉🥳🎂 highly recommended!
We honestly had one of the best meal, we've had in a long time. The sharing platter dumplings were something else, incredible. Food was Steaming hot, full of flavour, cooked well, loads of condiments that go with the dish. Staff were lovely, polite and the right amount of interaction.
Restaurant was clean and lit well.

This is probably the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to, if not the best restaurant in general. The food is so flavourful, I'm literally salivating just thinking about it. We got the red, massaman, and jungle curries as well as the Pad Khee Mao noodles (I think that was the name), and all of them were sooooooo gooooood! If it seems pricey, then don't worry because the large portions make up for it. I probably wouldn't even bother getting any starters since the food is so filling. The only downside was the sticky rice, which felt like it had been made from a packet, and there wasn't much of it either. The steamed rice is much better since it looks like it is made fresh.
Highly recommend this place. The food is absolutely delicious. We shared the starter platter to try a mix of items and each one was so tasty. Especially the dumplings!! My seafood main was flavoursome, and spicy. You couldn't have asked for better service. A real treat. Definitely coming back again as I want to try the soup.
AMAZING Thai food. Absolutely authentic. I'd recommend the Massama curry, it was the best Thai food I'd ever had. Food took a while to arrive, but it was worth it!
The chicken satay starter was the best chicken satay sticks I've ever had. The Pad Thai noodles (with chicken) was amazing. The food presentation was beautiful. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating. We were even able to book in despite them being very busy. I recommend the Thai ice tea.

This thai restaurant is conveniently located next to all the local amenities. I went for a meal here on Sunday evening. I pre-booked my table in advance. I was greeted by the staff and then taken to my table. The restaurant looked clean, tidy, and spacious. The tables were laid out nicely leaving reasonable space between each other.
The menu offered a good range of dishes and they were reasonable prices for the area. The chicken with spicy basil is worth sampling. I will mention the rice portions are tiny for all the dishes I tried.
The overall service from start to finish was good. Waiters were checking if everything was ok, topping drinks up, etc. Although the service was slow but worth the wait because the food was cooked fresh and the restaurant that evening appeared to be busy.
Despite the small portions of food, I had an overall pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason, I highly recommend going to the The Local Thai Restaurant in Paignton.
