What a fantastic day activity, a great way to see different places. Would highly recommend it as a holiday activity! Stunning views and a lovely little cafe along the way :) I'd defo do it again if I visited again.
A great, flat ride into Padstow from Wadebridge. Only about 5 miles but it has nice views and stops along the way. We'll definitely be doing it again as it's far less stressful than trying to drive and park in Padstow if nothing else...
nice cycle route with pretty views of Padstow and you cycle closer
Started at Wadebridge to Padstow a very pleasant bike ride , paths are wide and good to cycle on a slow inclination did get off to walked some of the way , much easier going back ! Very interesting to see all the locks
Amazing day out. It’s busier on the Padstow to Wadebridge leg, but was just stunning through the leafy trail to Bodmin. Lots of rest stops and plenty food places. It’s great for cyclists walkers joggers and babies in prams.
Great cycle ride for the whole family of all ages. Approximately 6 miles to Wadebridge on a fairly flat run. Small cafe stop half way with great views of the estery.
Love this cycle trail the staff were very helpful and you stop half way at a little cafe along the track. Very flat paths to Padstow. You can also leave you bike padlocked up at Padstow and explore the harbour. The bikes are smooth with comfy seats we hired the dog crate too at a small cost. Great v
Really good cycle/walking trail
Cycled from Padstow to Wenford Bridge and back, using one of our own bikes and a bike hired from Padstow Cycle Hire (would recommend). The trail is a mixture of tarmac and fine gravel.
Set off at about 09:00 and the trail was reasonably quiet; on the return journey the trail had busied up. There ar
This is a cycle track that runs down the camel estuary from Wadebridge to Padstow. It's flat all the way and stunning. It's the old train line that was scapped by Beeching in the 1950s. Have a go, it'll take about 30 to 45min depending on how fast you peddle!!!!
A simply must try! The Atlantic Coast Express First Class Buffet Car. Situated at the mid way point between the beautifully scenic coastal trail between Padstow and Wadebridge at the old slate quarry. An ideal pit stop serving up a whole host of quality treats to fuel the next stage of your journey.
Tons of adventure to experience most of the way. That included a flat tire that was repaired, then deflated 3x. After a call to the bike hire place we arranged to get it sorted at one of their associated center in Wadebridge. Thanks to them didn't complete the 18 mile journey going but made a 10 mil
Had a lovely walk, so calm and tranquil road
Great cycle path and thoroughly enjoyed it but the last bit into Padstowe was very busy unsurprising as the views from it are wonderful & the number of bike hire places too.
Lovely trail to either walk or cycle. 5 miles each way start at Wadebridge go to Padstow pick up a pasty and then make your way back to Wadebridge.
Lovely walk with coffee shop half way along. Loads of families cycling which was great to see.
I came prepared and brought my own bikes. It was a gentle ride, and I managed to bike all the way to Bodmin and back to Padstow.
This is the most beautiful place to ride a bike and walk, safe, as it is mostly off road. There were some stinging nettles encroaching on the path in places.
Have done bodmin to wadebridge a few times but wadebridge to Padstow has the best views ❤️ best bike ride ever 👍
