Lunch at St Petroc's Bistro, Padstow was lovely. No other way to describe it. The atmosphere is lively, verging on noisy, but still very pleasant. The dining room is very nice, plus there are tables outside at the front and the secret garden around the back.

There is so much fish in the Padstein empire I went for a steak and chips! The steak was excellent and expertly cooked, medium rare. My wife had Tuna and happily cleaned her plate. I would come back. i had a large glass of Rick's Bordeaux a good choice.

Ignore the poor reviews - some people expect Michelin standards just because of the name. This is a lovely Bistro. Food was excellent, as was the wine and lovely staff. The ambience is bright but very tasteful. If a French couple came here they’d see it as a good Bistro. We will deffo be back.
Didn't stay but had dinner. We had drinks I'm Ruby's beforehand, which was lovely. Food was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Really lovely atmosphere; quieter atmosphere than the seafood restaurant, a nice escape from the madness
