Came here today for my 50th birthday treat. Ordered a lot of tasty food!. Really delicious and the service was spot on, attentive without being too over the top. Liv served us and she was so lovely, remembering which cutlery we needed at every course. The recommendations were fab. Thank you once aga
My 5 star rating was for the excellent food. We ordered from the set menu, which was exceptional value. Starter- Mackerel Salad Main - 4oz Steak Frites Dessert - Sticky Toffee Pudding But the service was a little messy. With 3 different waiting staff servicing our table, there seemed to be a lack of
This was on my bucket list to dine in one of Rick Stein restaurants for years. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and the food was superb. Myself and my friend dined in the dog friendly lounge as I had my dog with me. I had the scallops and lobster for main, both cooked perfectly. The service was a littl
Absolutely amazing and wonderful experience today, Sunday 3rd September. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were made to feel very special. We had the lobster, lemon sole and the monkfish. All arrived at the same time, super fresh and hot. We all had a pudding, you can’t fault
Lunch at St Petroc's Bistro, Padstow was lovely. No other way to describe it. The atmosphere is lively, verging on noisy, but still very pleasant. The dining room is very nice, plus there are tables outside at the front and the secret garden around the back. We sat inside and ordered from the lunch
There is so much fish in the Padstein empire I went for a steak and chips! The steak was excellent and expertly cooked, medium rare. My wife had Tuna and happily cleaned her plate. I would come back. i had a large glass of Rick's Bordeaux a good choice.
Visited the restaurant when we were down in Cornwall in Sept. The meal was very good and service was excellent. It's a relatively expensive meal though.
A Rick Stein restaurant. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food was expensive but worth it. I had a seared tuna steak, which was excellent.
Had an amazing meal once again, friendly, attentive staff and fantastic cocktails next door. Food was outstanding.
Last minute booking, what a lovely meal, lots of choice from set menus one behing a 3 course lunch menu from £17.50 absolute great value for money. Really good wine menu 👍. Highly recommended 👌
Can not fault the staff, food, location. Absolutely lovely food and a great experience. Thank you for making our day 💕
Ignore the poor reviews - some people expect Michelin standards just because of the name. This is a lovely Bistro. Food was excellent, as was the wine and lovely staff. The ambience is bright but very tasteful. If a French couple came here they’d see it as a good Bistro. We will deffo be back.
Didn't stay but had dinner. We had drinks I'm Ruby's beforehand, which was lovely. Food was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Really lovely atmosphere; quieter atmosphere than the seafood restaurant, a nice escape from the madness
