There was a queue to get in but well worth it! Cod and chips were amazing as were the huge onion rings!

It is a surprise to be the first review of this wonderful Stein’s Seafood Bar. The fishmonger part is always busy. Although it is not a full restaurant setup, the menu is simple and choices are limited, it is still a very good quick seafood bites place especially the Lobster which is very popular in the bar.

Influenced by other feedback My second time. Last was 4 years or so. This time round I was with my 15 yr old son. Having done a walk of the town to see what was on offer we returned to eat here and we left happy. We shared the seafood platter which include 4 oysters which whilst simple was well presented. I think the price was fair. In addition I had a pleasant wine, shared a dessert with my son and finished with a good espresso. It took some time to get served but obviously we were not in McDonald's. Staff were courteous, engaging and helpful (esp. in recommending a wine). I like the hustle and bustle of the fish mongers at one end of the food bar and the overall athoshere with an eclectic clientele. Will go back unless my review results in no room to enter.
