Beautiful food. Freshly cooked. Quaint establishment. Friendly service with a smile. Definitely worth every penny. Lovely and clean. Food was to die for, every meal was perfectly cooked and well presented. Not an empty plate in sight, we all said we didn't want our meals to end!!! And to top it off we discovered that the chef is only 18 years old. That boy is truely talented. Thankyou for the perfect end to our holiday. We just wished we'd discovered you earlier.

We only stopped for a few drinks - but lovely atmosphere - fire was on during the day so lovely and cosy. Barman was lovely & friendly. See you again!

First time back in 4 years, it's had a refit since then, looks great. We had the fish & chips and the vegan curry, both lovely and good portion sizes, washed down with a few pints of local ale and lager, lovely.

The two bar staff member that where on, was lovely and friendly, also the brummie was very funny 😊 The chef also did lovely food for us. We had mussels and a few small plates to make my own tapas. absolutely amazing food. My partner said best mussels he's ever had!!.. would of had another plate if he had any room left. I also really enjoyed my olives, potatas bravas and chorizo in honey dishes. 100% would come again. Also dog friendly. Found by accident and turned out to one of favourite places to eat.

Amazing new menu & the warmest of welcome. Sam & Ellie made me feel more than at home with a pub packed with diners nothing is too much trouble for this duo. I had Steak frites with salsa verde & a side of the truffle Mac’n cheese . Did not disappoint the Steak succulent and the salsa verde what a choice of accompaniment. Always top notch. You won’t get better!! Always will return without a worry!! Tom !

Lovely little pub back from the harbour. Staff friendly, service good and a cosy feel to the place. Oldie world inside, but welcomed with a smile.

Very good food and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended if in Padstow. Gets very busy in season so come early to get a table. Very good menu.

We only popped in for a drink and to use the toilet, but the minute we walked through the door we were met with a cheerful greeting, the pub is amazing inside, being there old cottages knocked into one pub. After seeing the menu we decided to give it a try. So pleased we did. My ham egg and chips were delicious, and even though there was no beans on the menu it was no trouble too as them. My wife had fish and chips, delicious crispy batter, amazing chips and tasty smashed peas and tartare sauce. Lots of pubs in padstow, give this one a go. You won’t be disappointed. Top marks to the staff and chef.

Friendly pub, nice food, good St Austell’s beer on draft, a few people in when we were there, the chef came out to make sure the food was all ok, sea food chowder was really nice. We have been coming here for a few years and will continue to do so!

I bit sterilised now but still a nice watering hole. Miss the nicotine yellow ceilings ! Main bar a tad snug, but nobody is complaining, plenty of room in other areas of the pub and a small garden/eating area out the back Dogs welcome and well behaved children allowed in if accompanied by considerate parents Always a summer display of hanging baskets out the front, but it’s amazing how many people walk past but don’t walk in (fine by me) Bar seats available for those who wish to interact whilst sitting 2ft above those sitting at tables Bar staff always good If you are a pub shy person, this is the place to lose your social interactive virginity PS. Excellent selection of Salty Snacks

Dropped in for a Sunday roast. Very nice vegetables tasty and well cooked but the trio of meats were a bit dry, possibly because we ate around 2pm but on the whole I would recommend
