Stunning food. Wonderful service. Amazing staff. Delicious champagne. Faultless evening. Our 2nd time here. 1st time was 7 years ago and this time it surpassed our amazing memories from the last time we visited. We absolutely love it here and the food is exceptionally good.
A wonderful, cozy and convivial café, we enjoyed an excellent family lunch whilst visiting beautiful Padstow. Food and ambience were excellent. The service was generally good but with a few 'misses' which made it, for us, 4 stars instead of 5. Despite that, we would most definitely return again.
Came there quite late earlier in the week after a rainy and windy day of exploring the coast. My group ordered the hake curry and sea bass laksa, both very delicious. Top notch service and really appreciated the professionalism. Very welcoming atmosphere with a touch of sophistication. Last ones to
Went for lunch yesterday all food very good But was Absolutely Shocked that they charged for a peppercorn sauce It came in a Jug Not much bigger than a Thimble £3 already paid £26 for the steak can not understand why you would do this ,except for profiteering such a shame. Spoiled a LOVELY day Rick
Lovely place to eat lunch or dinner, service very friendly and attentive. Food was mostly excellent (we had mussels & scallops for starters, delicious). However, we were left a little underwhelmed by the lobster. Understandably a very expensive dish, with only 1 option on the menu, it being in a mas
Lovely comfy bed, lots of extras in the tuck box and mini bar if desired. Lots of Jill Stein designs made it a lovely room. I stayed with a friend so the ensuite wasn't really suitable for people who don't live together and require more personal space. It was quite a way from where we parked the car
We booked a table for our 25th wedding anniversary meal while staying in Padstow and were so impressed. We ordered Thai fishcakes and mussels to start and the fish curry , hake and sides for mains and were not disappointed. Every dish was perfect and the flavours were outstanding, even the fries wer
We had a wonderful lunch here. The service was excellent - very warm, friendly and helpful. We all had a delicious lunch in the courtyard as we had a dog with us. The only slight shame is that the courtyard lacked any ambience and we became the walk through for anyone going to the toilet. Overall wo
Love the fact that everything is cooked to perfection and tastes amazing. The location is charming. Rick Stein prices it so that most people can afford to treat themselves to some fine food. Food for the people not just the privileged. What a very very nice man.
Wow 🤩 We had an amazing meal last night at Rick Stein’s Cafe. It surpassed all my expectations and was absolutely delicious. Coming all the way from Australia it was a real treat for us. The seafood was so fresh and flavours were sensational. The service was also excellent going the extra mile to ma
We felt somewhat disappointed. Lobster was excellent but rest was uninspired. We were rushed through the meal (which might be due to the fact that we booked the table for 'quite late' at 8:15 pm. Service was subpar although friendly. One of starters was forgotten, as was the vine for the mains.
We had lunch at the Cafe and were not disappointed. We did not have a booking, but the staff were very accommodating and we got a table within half an hour. I am vegetarian, and even though there is not much choice, the dishes I tried were absolutely delicious. I had the tibetan noodle soup and aube
We never planned or booked this and so we’re extremely lucky to get a table, so glad we managed to get a seat. The service was brilliant and the food understandably exquisite, the Cafe is set back from the crowds also making it’s a nicer setting. Thanks Rick!
