What a delight. Snugly and cosy. Staff attentive and lovely. Just superior food perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. In par with No 6. Would highly recommend you try the scallops and cooked / raw oysters. The lemon sole was mouth watering

Fantastic, food was sublime and the staff terrific. The bread as a starter was lovely and every dish we'd ordered just kept getting better and better. Brill for a special meal or just for relaxed, amazing food. You won't be disappointed unless you can't get a reservation!

What a great place. My girlfriend found POTL and we managed to get a table for 2 people and 2 dogs before 5pm on a Friday. The dishes are changed regularly so they will show you the boards of what is available. There are a number of tapas small plates as well as larger options. We had the seared tuna with mirin dip, scallops in Thai dressing, whole red mullet deep fried and cod. It was all amazing would definitely go back. And the service was great too. Very friendly.

I saw this place recommended in a few lists I found on Google so decided to try it. They have specials every day and the dishes are small tapas style. We got 5 to share which was just the right amount. All the dishes were flavoured well and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The staff were all friendly and it was a bonus that dogs were welcome.

Super delicious small plates, perfectly timed so that each could savoured individually. Great service too in a buzzing place that packs a punch. My only small downside was the uncomfortableness of the bar stools we perched on for the meal.

Whats not to love about this spectacular space. Positioned perfectly in the harbour town of Padstow, Prawn on the Lawn (POTL) serves a uniquely fresh experience to an already well served area for great food. Servers are so welcoming and engaged in your experience, you'll feel part of the team, which given the small space, is a great help. My wife and I had several well mixed cocktails, and a stunning set of sharing plates. The Tuna, seared and served sashimi with a soy dressing was a favourite alongside scallops, served in the shell with a fragrant Thai sauce which I won't soon forget. Quick shout out to some of the finest potato side dishes ever.

Popped in on the off chance of getting a few oysters to take away as we had no reservation and they were very busy. No facilities to take away but the staff had no issues with us having them served to us just outside the premises. Fresh delicious oysters went down a treat. Highly recommended for the welcoming atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and delicious fresh seafood.
