Best chips I've had in years... A chip shop that actually takes pride in cooking decent chips and not like the majority I've been to recently that serve you flash fried pale enemic MUSH for £6 a bag.. I recommend you get your food here,.. Banging chips at a banging price. If I didn't live in Cardiff I'd literally move to Padiham tomorrow just for this guy chippy. Well priced and a decent portion, even for a 22stone fatty like me it was more than enough.

Traditional English fish and chip shops are a fast disappearing resource and it's really heartwarming to go here and be served with a delicious selection of finest quality chippy fare. I went for the steak and kidney pudding , chips, peas and gravy. Wow what a treat. I really feel like this may have been one of the best I have ever had. Mushy peas were definitely of the finest quality to be had anywhere. Believe you me I have been sampling that legendary chippy dinner for donkeys years in many different establishments and I'm certain that this is one of the best. Thanks Eddie you smashed it. Yum yum Check opening times.

Grab a chippy tea from here every Tuesday on our way to music centre without fail as we have no time to go home for tea before music centre. As a general rule, we just grab chips or chip butties all round as we are on tight time schedule, but for when we don't have to rush there is something here for all the family. Polite friendly service. Highly reccommended. Thanks.

Love this place, a propper unspoilt Lancashire Traditional English one stop pits stop foody refuel must. Dinning facilities available if hiking The Historical Town & Countryside of Padiham. Call in lunchtime to 1:30 pm & tea times. You won't be disappointed... 👍👍

It is a great chippy without doubt but they often forget to put items in your bag. Last time it was a sausage but today it was my steak pudding. At least the grandparents fish and chips were in.

Went on Friday, chippy day?? There was a queue, we quickly served, I prefer fish wrapped in greaseproof paper rather than polystyrene, which all add to landfill, tasty fish

We travelled from Runcorn to Padiham to watch a football match. Eddie was fantastic, even though he closed at 6.30 pm. I called him and he trusted me enough to cook some food for us. I know I only got there 5 minutes after closing but it was all ready for me. The fish and chips were amazing. Thank you again Eddie x

On the walk home we called in and had chips and curry sauce to take away. Lovely hot and tasty. Will definitely be doing this again.
