We have a family get together here twice a year and it never disappoints!
There's usually around 20 of us ranging in age from our little boy who is 14 months old up to my grandma who is in her late 80's! And the staff always deliver excellent service for all of us! To say we can be a difficult bunch is probably an understatement as some of us fussy eaters and we all end up ordering from different menus which most places won't allow you to do! They are so accommodating and meals are always served at the same time and hot so they've definitely got wonderful kitchen staff with excellent time keeping skills!
Becky and the front of house staff are brilliant! So lovely and happy and polite and so very welcoming!
The bar area is warm and cosy and a good area to sit and have a drink. The bar is well stocked and they have a great wine list with all tastes and budgets catered for.
The food is always very good! We all had different starters, I went for the smoked salmon roulade which was delicious! And chose the turkey Christmas dinner from their Christmas menu as my main which was good too and the turkey wasn't dry at all so bonus points! The veg is always really fresh, well cooked and seasoned. and Becky was kind enough to do baby portions for our son and even went to get more strawberries when that's what he decided he wanted.
We absolutely LOVE it here and we'll be visiting again soon no doubt!
We celebrated our wedding here on saturday. On the run up to the wedding Bekki was really helpful and put us at ease. We had an excellent meal. The staff were very helpful. The tables were made up to perfection and the food just melted in the mouth. Everyone had a brilliant time. Thank you to all the staff at The Cellar Resteraunt for making our day so special. Xxxxx

What a lovely place ! When we walked in we felt a warm welcome from the staff and she sat us down in the waiting area which was warm and comfortable . The surroundings still have there original features it was built in the 1600's . We ordered our food and all i can say is wow!! Huge piece of steak with potatoes and veg and i had the chicken breast with a delicious sauce . Reasonable price too for what you get. And if you meet a lovely lady called margaret who goes 4 times a week on her own then your in for a treat ☺ highly reccomend!

Went on New Years day as always the staff are friendly and deliver an excellent service and the meal was superb the starter of fish cakes were delicious as we don't live in the area we don't get to dine here as often as we would like but it is always a lovely treat when we visit Padiham.
Came tonight for our tea which was last minute. Service was just as good as the food which we loved. Amazing-thank you. Would highly recommend
First time trying here tonight for the valentines set meal, was lovely food and the staff are brilliant with very good service. Will definitely be returning great place �
My husband took me there last night for my birthday and the food was excellent for us both especially myself who has allergys the service and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful thankyou so much x

Went for a Mother's Day meal with my daughter, food was absolutely fantastic! Good hearty portion and was so tasty. The chef's definitely know what they're doing. Good Atmosphere and Amazing service from friendly and very helpful, smiley staff. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
What a fantastic find. Super welcoming and friendly staff, who knew their job and were on the ball with service throughout our meal. We really can't remember when we last had this level of treatment anywhere.
There is a wide selection of food on the a la carte menu, and a comprehensive drinks list featuring a wide choice of beers, gins, spirits and cocktails.
We opted for the night's special 'chippy tea' - excellent and very, very reasonable.
We saw the Tapas Night (Cellar style) advertised on the way out so after tonight's experience, immediately booked our table.
Went for my daughters 18th who has gluten free diet. Couldn't fault it, venue lovely, food fab and service couldn't be faulted. Excellent value for money
Called quite late on, on Sunday, to book a table and they managed to squeeze us in. Delighted that they did. Food was absolutely spot on, had the Sunday roasts (and for £20.95 for 3 courses, worth every penny). Main thing for us was how attentive and accommodating of our little girl all of the staff were. They were helpful, engaging and couldn't do enough for her. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back again soon.

Nice meal 3 courses for 20 quid ish, came in a large party of around 30 people and the food came nice and hot and the standards were not compromised like they are in many other restaurants when in such a large group, definitely recommend
The Cellar is a very beautiful building inside and out. The staff go above and beyond to provide an excellent service. The meals are very delicious and just melt in your mouth. An excellent menu.
Food here is very good and the rooms and building very interesting.
It is claimed to be one of the oldest buildings in Padiham.
Service very good staff are fresh welcoming and polite.
It is a little pricey but I guess you have to pay for quality.
I thought drinks were expensive a drink for me and my wife at the bar was £11
We had a bottle of house red wine Italian (montepulciano di abruzzo) although it was 1 litre (bigger than the normal 75cl) I thought it costly at £19
To gauge prices these were what we paid in September 2018
The whole meal with starters and drinks for 2 adults came to £100
great service amazing food would highly recommend and allow kids to eat as well

Loved it the food is excellent & all the staff are very friendly and attentive,a good choice of dishes on the menu,something to suit everyone,will definitely visit again.
Celebrated our Silver Wedding in the function room upstairs- what a great time we had, Becky was amazing and Sophie the bar girl did us proud. The hot food buffet was out of this world and nothing was too much trouble for food servers. My guests all said they will definitely be going again for food. A massive thankyou to you all. 😍

Had Sunday lunch. Food was plentiful and really good and the price was right. You would have to go a long way to better this place. The owners should be proud of what service they give to the public. All the staff should as they where all very friendly and helpful.
Booked in here 32 years ago but had to cancel. Finally went, for the first time, and it was our loss for not going much sooner! The food was fantastic, the staff very friendly, and the prices very reasonable. Only complaint on my behalf is that they don't seem to have a bitter on hand pump. Will definitely be going again, and won't be leaving it such a long time in future!
Part of a group on Saturday evening, all food was presented at the table on time and together. Nobody was sat waiting for 1 dish to come out of the kitchen like in so many restaurants when part of a group.

Five star all round from me for the The Cellar Restaurant. We had three courses for £17.95 which I thought was excellent value for money as the food was very very good. We have not been here since the end of the first lock down. We won't be leaving it so long before we go again. I would highly recomend giving it a try.
