Never had a complaint about the service or meals at this place. We've been numerous times as we're local, but it's always an option when deciding where to go for a family dinner, probably because my kids grew up with the unlimited fizzy drinks machine (which is why one of them still picks this as an option I think!). It does a great carvery too, but most importantly, the staff are always approachable and friendly.
We haven't been here for some time but booked a table today as we were celebrating. What fantastic service as always the carvery was just so so wonderful . The meats were just right and so where the veg and the roasts wish I had more . We would really like to say a Big Thank You to the kitchen staff who always give us all a fantastic meal . We are here having a Sunday roast lunch, the place looks very clean, staffs are very helpful and cheerful. Tasty meats carvery and variety vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, cheese cauliflower and gravy. The good thing is the vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy are allow to top up, but not the meats that you can only go for one. That is enough for the whole day. I definitely will come back as price is very reasonable and good value for this economy. I recommend this place to other people. 👍👍
We had a mid week early evening meal. The staff were very polite and helpful. The before 6.00pm meal deal ( two mains for £9.99) is excellent value! There were plenty of tables although you should book at weekends as it gets very busy. There is a lot of free parking. There is a children's play area outside with picnic benches close by.
Staff were friendly AND knowledgable on allergens.
Forth coming with information, we made it known ( we were asked) husband is coeliac. Had the Sunday carvery, only item couldn’t have was Yorkshire pudding. We COULD have stuffing balls!

Visited with some work colleagues, hoping to get a meal. When we arrived we were told they only had the carvery to offer, which whilst it was very nice, it would have been nice to have had an option. Will still go back
Fantastic value for money ! Food fresh & hot Fantastic portions! 2 mains & 2 desserts for £ 15 who can grumble !

We as a family love this place , Scott, Charmaine and the rest of the team here are always friendly and polite and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome . The food is always hot and tasty, cooked just how you like it. Carvery on a sunday is a must . The atmosphere is great and you always feel comfortable here . We are regular visitors and would recommend to anyone who hasn't yet been here .

Absolutely stunning meal for a somewhat reasonable price! I had the mixed grill, which was cooked to the way I like it. There was an option to have Sunday carvery but there wasn't much choice so we stuck with main meal. I also had s'mores for dessert, which tasted absolutely amazing. One criticism that i have of yhis restaurant is that the waitress who served us was very rude and ignorant (young, long blonde hair tied back). We didn't understand what till was to order dinner and what to order dessert as I hadn't been in a branch since 2007. She called us over to the dessert till to order dinner and moaned at us very sarcastically when we said we wanted main meal. She said "that's why I asked you if you wanted dinner or dessert" even though she'd just let us in so she should know. She groaned at us and we lined up in the dinner till queue. The lady serving us was very polite and took us through what to do (young, brown hair tied back and glasses). Apart from the charisma of the waitress, we had a lovely meal!!!
Stopped here for lunch on our journey on holiday. Great food. Desserts delicious
