The Barley Mow - Oxted - Photo album

We popped in for a quick lunch last week. It was our first time to the Barley Mow and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious - a good selection, smaller and larger options go. The decor is gorgeous. We will defi
When your child has a life threatening food allergy eating out can feel like a game of Russian roulette…but not here. The staff are understanding and knowledgeable and we’ve always had a great experience-my son being able to eat “safe” ice-cream for pudding was a huge bonus!
Two lovely meals at the Barley Mow in less than a week, both to celebrate family birthdays. A delicious, tender roast lamb Sunday roast and trimmings followed by a relaxing Friday lunchtime with a very generous portion of local ham egg and chips. Great food and service as always. Also very thoughtfu
The Barley Mow is a charming, beautiful pub. I went for Sunday roast and had the best dinner. The food was so delicious. The wait staff was attentive and helpful with my child with a food allergy. After dinner, we went out and relaxed in the lawn chairs while our kids played Connect Four. I highly r
Lovely out if the way pub and restaurant. Lovely choice of good food and not expensive. It was a sunny day and beautiful garden. Best book a table as popular for the above reasons.
Had lunch here twice now and both times did not disappoint. Both the food and staff are lovely, chef really knows his stuff and the staff are really friendly. Clean atmosphere and lovely decor.
I often come to this country pub as it is one of our favourite. Amazing food as always. Beautiful presentation. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Just love it and highly recommend it.
After hearing about this place for years in searches but never bothering, we ended up there this weekend by chance when it was the nearest pub to our walk. I wish we'd come here sooner. The food was fantastic (best roast beef I've ever had when out for lunch - and how many pubs have their own baker

Food is cooked well. I highly recommend the vegan burger. Friendly staff and prompt service. Nice outside seating areas. The garden at the back offers drinks and snacks only at this time. Beautiful decor.
Amazing pub, doesnt sell itself well. So here go a few pics to help out
Beautiful pub with lovely food. They had lots of vegetarian and vegan options, log fire going and dog friendly. The toddler in our party even got given a Barley Mow bear for Christmas :)
Have done a couple of circular walks with friends from Godstone on a Sunday morning ranging from about 6.5km and 10km. We stop off at the Barley Mow for a tea and breakfast roll in the garden. A range of options from pastries to full English breakfast, there are vegetarian options too. We usually ge
Well presented country pub with friendly efficient staff. Outdoor seating and an ice cream van for the kids. Didn't eat here but the food looked like excellent quality
