Great find in a quaint town!
It was my first time in the area, and looking for a spot for breakfast. Noticed the sign out front of Crown Inn and we thought to give it a try.
The space is beautiful, our table overlooked the road. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Quiet and comfortable. I
Visted the pub yesterday for Sunday lunch and received fantastic service from start to finish.
The Sunday lunch was lovely and very generous portions for the reasonable price.
We will definitely be back and only wish we had found the pub before the good weather left us.
The owner was very welcoming despite our accompanying dog and wild child (terrible twos). Food was nice and suitably priced. The dog was even given a bone by the landlord.
Fantastic, friendly service. I had the vegetarian English breakfast and it was delicious.
I really like the crown, having been several times. The cask beer is well kept, and also local . The menu has variety too and is of a good standard considering. There are two levels, and plenty of good nooks and crannies for groups. Events are also held in the garden. Favourite pub in Oxted.
Lovely little venue. My daughter loved the climbing frame in the garden. We never ate food only drinks. I left my daughters doll there by accident and Alan kindly posted it back to me the next day without any hiccups. I am very grateful to the kind staff and can say that thw atmosphere seemed relaxe
What a genius idea, diversifying into breakfasts. 110% recommend it in every way.
Delicious Cajun Chicken salad; the flavours blended so well together. Just the light lunch I was hoping for. I had a wander around the lovely garden with different seating areas, and a great children's playground. And attentive service. A happy visit.
Lovely little pub. Popped in late Sunday lunch after a gruelling tennis match, pleasantly surprised by very reasonable prices and good quality food. Bit of a wait to get the food but short staffed in kitchen so understandable. Friends were very impressed with the vegan chilli! And those gorgeous bow
The food was lovely, we opted for the Chef's special of Lamb Kofta and Halloumi on flat bread. This was served with potato wedges (home made) and salad, yum! What made the experience even better were the lovely ladies that looked after us, amazing and a credit to the business. When you visit ask for
Stopped at this pub after a walk around the oxted area,
Great little boozer with very friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere. (seemed as though it was run by a family which is always the sign of a good pub)
We only had desserts here but the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake were de
As a family of 5, we were made to feel very welcome and safe. We had one of the best Sunday roasts in years. The Beef was like butter. Great range of veg, crispy roast potatoes and extra gravy on the table without having to ask. Very reasonable in price and the service was steady and not pressured.
A fantastic garden play area for children, they loved it and didn't want to leave. A wooden bus, pirate boat, wobbly bridges, two slides and a basket swing. The food was really good, I'd recommend the halloumi burger. It feels like a family run pub which is even better. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great Caribbean food, would highly recommend.
Staff was really nice, helpful and respectful of the covid rules. Garden is lovely and prices reasonable. Only small criticism is that my burger was overcooked (burnt on the outside) although I asked for medium rare. Waiter told me the chef needed to cook at 75 degrees. I wished they told me beforeh
My girlfriend and I just had a great lunch at the crown Inn, the staff were extremely friendly, served us really quickly, and the food was extremely tasty with large portions so we left happy and full! We also were able to bring our dog with us inside which is always a blessing, highly recommend thi
