Some of the best middle-eastern food I've ever tasted. The lunch box is great value and there are meat or vegan options - all gluten free. Love that you can get fair trade and eco food here. Great little shop with loads of tasty options! I recommend stopping by for a pastry on your way to port meadow. As a regular customer and resident of the local area I love the deli, it really brings community to our street and is so convenient too. Plus best hummus I’ve ever tasted!

I just had a fantastic lunch box from Hayfield Deli. I chose the vegetarian curry over rice, as well as the potato salad and the aubergine salad for sides. They were all excellent. Highly recommend this clean and delicious spot for lunch!
Great local deli - cannot recommend Mehdi's lunch box more highly. Great selection of high quality deli items as well, and love the outdoor fruit and veg display - such care and thought going into the whole place and it's feel. A real gem of the local community.
