Good beer, cute place in what was once a tile shop...duh...Quirky decor, bar games to borrow. No food, but chips for sale. Fun spot for a pint.
Really cool and quirky little alehouse in a former tile shop. Kept loads of original features. Luke who was working that day was very friendly, welcoming and you can try the cask ales before you decide. I opted for 2 pints of the local Birch ale. Rich, dark and flavoursome. Would defo return ππ
If you love beer, this is the perfect place to go. They know and love the product they sale. They pay attention to the details of how a beer must be served: temperature, the right mixture of CO2 and nitrogen, the size of bubbles! A real beer experience.
One of the best finds in Oxford. Very tasty beer and really decent staff. Theo has the banter.
Wonderful find!
Amazing, independent Ale House, friendly barman, quirky but good decor.
ALL the beers were in Excellent, tip-top condition - a rars thing!
Visit this gem of a place!
No fuss. Just (very) good beer. Ideal.
A wonderful selection of ales and beers, served by a delightful staff member.
The venue is quaint, unique and extremely cozy.
I recommend a visit but don't bring a crowd!
Such a quirky, welcome ale house with excellent ales from Tring Brewery. Will be a proper snug bar when allowed inside after lockdown
Great beer lovely people Great atmosphere
A refreshing change from the norm regarding other local establishments. I'm not a ale drinker so can not comment, but i do like cider and there newly introduced to me cider (hitchcox) was banging and a creeper. π€.
Very welcoming and quick service.
Go give them a try.
A really new micropub. All the best to them for trying something new
Cracking evening at the βTile shopβ Alehouse, if you like your ale this is the place to go, very friendly staff and locals, felt very welcomed whilst visiting the area! ππΊ
Visited this lovely and friendly place today and they have an excellent selection of ales and also a great selection of snacks which is lacking in so many other places. Highly recommended.
First visit. Only been open a week. Excellent reasonably priced real ale. Great crew running it. Spotlessly clean inside including loo.A great new edition to Headington if you like real ale. Small , but a must to visit. Hope supported by Headington residents.
A rare oasis in Windmill Road this Alehouse has all a discerning drinker could want. The Ridgeway beer is fantastic, so much so I popped in for one and stayed for 3 more!!
If you crave a pub where good beer and conversation is prioritized over loud music and TV sports then The Tile Shop is for you
Just discovered this new place yesterday and we've already been twice! Good beer, nice people and a pavement cafe kind of feel to the outdoor space. Now the best place for a drink in Headington I reckon.
A great place to sit, chat and enjoy a good beer or a lovely glass of wine. House rules state no mobile phone use on premises - perfect! This is a place Headington needed. Love it.
Theo was amazing! What beautiful service. Me and my colleague had such a stressful day and he was so lovely, even gave us a drink on the house π‘ thank you!
