Boswells Broad Street Cafe - Oxford - Photo album

Apart from wanting use of the toilet facilities, we also decided to stop here for hot drinks. It also enabled us to watch and time our park and ride bus .Seems more European like coffee shop. Whilst waiting for orders one could wonder of to browse their goodies on the floor shop. But then service w
Unique department store which I visit regularly because it sells interesting goods at reasonable prices. Lots of useful things difficult to find elsewhere. Good toy department with especially helpful staff - though all service here is friendly and helpful in all departments Great kitchen goods depar
Unusual and quite old-fashioned type of department store. They have a great kitchen and home wares department in the basement where you can get some excellent quality baking equipment, supplies for cake decorating, jam making etc. Can be expensive but they do give very generous discounts when they h
Cute little cafe tucked away upstairs, serving a nice selection of teas and cakes. Cream tea was lovely and a reasonable price (£5 each). Other cakes on display looked fantastic but on the pricey end at £4 per slice. Attentive and friendly staff, with a lovely and sophisticated atmosphere overall
Lovely department store with air con. Great for shopping on a hot day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cafe on 1st floor has a good choice of food for lunch along cakes and teas, all reasonably priced.
A charming, old school place with a soul. Fantastic range of toys. I was very surprised at the prices given it's independent. Not just reasonable, but often beating online shops. Only marking down 1* as the decor is a bit tired; I would spend much more time here, in other departments too, if it was
We had a super afternoon tea with freshly made sandwiches and warm scones. Plenty of varieties of teas on offer and tealeaf rather than teabags used. Staff were very helpful and offered to box up cakes we were too full to finish. A great find for weary tourists.
Such helpful staff; and a great stock of almost everything that you would ever need. Great kitchen department; and the only place to buy decent Christmas lights! The pharmacy is very helpful and knowledgeable too.
Family owned department store. Only thing they do not sell is clothes. Two cafes and a very decent selection of kids toys. Everything for the kitchen, luggage department and a pharmacy. What more do you want from a store?
Nice department store. Has 3 levels and a great selection. Everything from kitchen supplies to toys. Has a nice supply of Oxford souvenirs that a slightly different from the touristy stores. The kitchen supplies had an especially good selection.
