The chicken was juicy and well spiced. Their portion of fries was large and satisfying. However, I feel like I waited for my order longer than I expected.
i was really impressed by their chick n rice, i chose the extreme sauce and it blew my head off! so spicy but really enjoyed it. The chips was also nice. Customer service is really nice and friendly and the seating area was nice and clean. the prices i guess are reasonable too.

The first restaurant I visited after landing from Toronto. Was suggested to me by a friend who lives in the UK. I got the half peri-peri chicken extreme flavour. The food blew away my expectations. It was very spicy just what I wanted!
Coming from Toronto we often visit grilled chicken places like Nandos. Unfortunately most restaurants in Toronto fail to understand and deliver spicy flavours. I go to Nandos and get the extra hot every time but I have to repeat the same instructions (extra hot sauce, extra baste, etc.) and still it fails to meet expectations and it is never spicy enough. Every restaurant I go to its the same story, no spice no flavour.
This was not the case for Pepes. All I had to say was extreme and they delivered. I ended up purchasing a bottle of extreme sauce. I usually take a bottle of nandos extra hot sauce everywhere. This will be my replacement for the next few weeks and I can have a bit of Pepes everywhere I go. Then I unfortunately will have to go back to my usual nandos sauce.
Hoping one day Pepes will come to Toronto too (if you do come please don't downgrade your spicy standards, extreme should stay extreme even if people are unable to eat it there are lots of people like me who can).
They do some really good piri piri grilled chicken in there 🍗 My favorite meal for years in there was the Prime Pitta which was always very nice ✌️😎 + Very helpful staff !

The best thing is you can choose the type of sauce and level of spiciness according to your preference and I must say the blend of lemon and herbs in hot sauce was the best!🤤🤤

If you are Chicken Lover looking to eat hot peri peri wing try Pepe's with hot chilli sauce . It was yummy

Very pleased with their service. They know how to do business. Food is good quality and tasty, prices are cheap, staff are very polite, and orders are prepared in a timely manner. I hope they can keep the same good quality over time and I will continue choosing this restaurant over others in the same street; sadly, most new restaurants drop their quality as soon as they get enough customers. Ps. I also like the fact that you can charge your phone while in there.
I can never fault a company that owns up to their mistakes and makes it right, Just a shame I live in the place I do.
Also the food and service otherwise is quite frankly amazing, the current manager deserves a raise or something for having to deal with a Hangry customer, bless
More recently I've had to drop 1 Star for the size of the Coleslaw and Hummus £1.16 for a small tub holding two table spoons 🤔😅

Oh my God very delicious food
I highly recommend Pepe’s Oxford, I’ve been to a few branches up and down the country but this one is by far the best out of the lot in all departments. Customer service is always on point (short waiting times), the food is always freshly cooked, the overall hygiene of the place is kept to a fairly high standard. Great customer service and food came hot and tasty. Pepea got some tasty chicken. I've been eating from this branch from years now and chicken rice is the top notch item. Amazing
